The boutique festival is headlined by Norman Jay. He has received a MBE for his services to music and no wonder – from the warehouse parties of the 1980s to credibility and superclubs, he’s a Notting Hill Carnival regular so knows how to whip up an atmosphere. Music industry veteran Paul Potter has joined forces with Jane Jones (Jane Jones PR) to deliver this year’s event and they promise a mix of new and established local talent.
Party in the Park features all the carnival essentials – world foods, a market, games, artistic performances – get out your Mardi Gras gear and join in the fun. After parties are scheduled to take place at The Brit in Ashley Cross from 7pm-late on both night, with headline acts performing alongside local bands and DJs.
