For the first time ever, the Hazon Food Conference will not be taking place over Shabbat, which means that we’re going to be packing the schedule with more cooking demos, more DIY sessions, and more opportunities to get your hands messy than ever before. We’re also going to be throwing a New Year’s bash as only Hazon and Isabella Freedman can – with the help of Itta Werdiger-Roth of The Hester, the coolest Kosher speakeasy in Brooklyn, and Zion 80, a rockin’ band that brings together the melodies of Shlomo Carlebach with the beats of Fela Kuti. And you’ll even have an opportunity to make some of the snacks that we’re going to serve at the party!

Join fellow cooking enthusiasts, artisanal aficionados, and home gourmands for sessions with renowned cookbook authors, DIY experts, and sustainable chefs. Brush up on your cooking skills and learn delicious new recipes you can make at home. Featured presenters include Joan Nathan, Gil Marks, Leah Koenig and Itta Werdiger-Roth.

The Hazon Food Conference is December 29 – January 1 at the Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center in Falls Village, CT. All-inclusive rates start at the discounted rate of $360 if you register before October 15.

We are bringing a cohort from Colorado to capture the energy and knowledge from the Food Conference to build new knowledge, connections, energy and ideas and bring them back to our community. We are seeking a diverse group of participants of all ages and religious backgrounds. Scholarships specifically for people in the Boulder and Denver areas are available. For scholarship details and to apply visit us here. Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis so apply today!
