EMCO Software, a leading provider of software solutions for remote software deployment, has announced the start of public beta-testing of the new EMCO Remote Installer 4. The new version of the application has been delivered to a group of beta-testers who will evaluate the new features and test the new version before migrating to it in a production environment. According to EMCO Software, it is possible to join the beta-testing team during two weeks from now and try the application with no limitations during 30 days. All beta-testers who will actively participate in the testing of the new version of EMCO Remote Installer can order it with a discount once it is officially released.
EMCO Remote Installer 4 is designed to simplify Windows software installation and uninstallation across a local Windows network. The new version of the application offers over fifty improvements and new features that were not available in the previous versions. The new version of the application will become available in two editions with different sets of features. The Free edition of EMCO Remote Installer allows network administrators to audit Windows applications installed across a network and to install and uninstall a selected Windows Installation package (MSI file) to/from the selected remote PC. The Professional edition of the application allows network administrators to work with multiple PCs at once in order to audit, install and uninstall MSI packages remotely. Network administrators can schedule software audit, installation and uninstallation tasks for automatic execution using the Professional edition of the application.
EMCO Remote Installer 4 offers various remote installation and uninstallation options. Network administrators can use the application to install a single application or multiple applications remotely over a LAN. It's possible to execute additional custom actions in scope of remote software deployment operations. All remote operations are executed in parallel on multiple remote PCs to optimize the application usage in large networks. Network administrators can use EMCO Remote Installer 4 to uninstall unwanted applications remotely. It's possible to uninstall the same application from multiple remote PCs in one step.
