A brand new cafe and "bakehouse" is on its way to Somerville, and the folks behind it also run a couple of other cafes in the city.
According to its website, Forge Baking Company is going to be opening on Somerville Avenue, moving into the shopping center where Family Dollar and a few other businesses are located. The site mentions that the place will be "the youngest sibling of Diesel Cafe in Davis Square and Bloc 11 Cafe in Union Square," with the plans being for a full-service cafe and bakery that has seating for approximately 50. (A few items mentioned as being offered include sandwiches, macaroons, bread, and espresso.)
Based on a Twitter post from Forge Baking Company, it appears that the exact address for the spot will either be 624 Somerville Avenue or 626 Somerville Avenue (we will try to confirm which one ASAP).
