Mansfield ISD is moving forward with introducing schools of choice for the 2017-2018 school year. This is an opportunity for Erma Nash Elementary to have a specialized program that can benefit students and families from across the district. We have assembled a committee including teachers, administrators, and parents to begin the proposal process for a two-way dual language program to begin at Erma Nash next school year. This program consists of 50% of students being native English speakers, and 50% being native Spanish speakers and learning together in the same classroom. Instruction will be in both English and Spanish and prepare our students for the future. We would like your feedback about the potential program. Please take time to complete the faculty survey. Está es una oportunidad para los estudiantes de Erma Nash de tener un programa especializado que puede beneficiar a los estudiantes y las familias de todo el distrito. Hemos reunido a un comité que incluye a maestros, administradores y padres para comenzar el proceso de propuesta de un programa de dos lenguajes de doble vía para comenzar en el próximo año escolar en Erma Nash.
