Appraisal:
This is a sweet romance novella about two grieving people who
are brought together by a cute Border Collie puppy with no name. The characters
are well rounded and their heartbreaks are real. It is heart warming as
Erin
and Jarad accept the unconditional love of a puppy
and start opening up and sharing their own pain with each other. Jarad’s
mother, who is at fault for losing the puppy to begin with, is a wonderful
talkative meddler that adds humor to the story. Sadie is an adorable little
girl who steals everyone’s heart and it is delightful to watch her ever-changing
Christmas wish list.
The angst that
develops between Erin and Jarad as
Erin
tries
to run away, yet again, from her feelings is mild compared to other romances I
have read. This would probably be perfect for any young adult who liked to read
romances as the heat level is mild. This story is a fast easy read for those
who wish to escape for an afternoon.

I noticed a
few missing words, nothing to throw me out of the story. So I am going to say
no significant errors.
