Book Marketing Consulting Special Ends on August 31st . . .

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In response to the on-going recession, I’ve been offering a half-price special on my book marketing, ebook marketing, and Internet marketing consulting services. Instead of $250 per half hour, it only cost $125 per half hour. There’s still time to take advantage of this special rate!
This offer ends on August 31st. At that point, my consulting rate will go up to $600 per hour (what I’m really worth!).
You can ask for consulting for ten minutes, half hour, or an hour or more. Just email me at JohnKremer@BookMarket.com to schedule an appointment.
They say a fool takes a teacup to the ocean. I took my teacup to your Q&A session, just wanting to ask you about Kindle, and you gave me an ocean of wisdom about book marketing. Your Q&A was the most generous I have ever attended. Thank you. – Shar McBee, author of To Lead Is to Serve
Note: You can also sign up for my year-long consulting service where you can talk to me via the phone and via email to answer all your questions and keep you on track with your book marketing plan. Fee: $3,000 for one full year.
Quick Book Marketing Tip: Book Review Galley Copies
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Book Review Galleys: What Should They Look Like? – Book reviewers expect to see a version of the final cover on galleys. But these galley copies are over-printed with a phrase such as Advance Review Copy, Review Copy Only, Galley Copy: Publication Date of December 2013.

Go ahead and use your real cover on your galley copies, but over print with a banner or attach a bold sticker saying Advance Review Copy Only. You can also print that info, as you suggested, on the inside first page, but make sure it’s on the outside as well – boldly and clearly on the outside where the reviewer can see it at a glance.

For more details (especially what should go on the first page of the advance review copy), see my very informative blog post at: http://askthepublicist.com/book-review-galleys-what-should-they-look-like

John Kremer’s New Book Marketing Services

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Authors have been asking me to provide various services over the years. So now I’m offering a variety of services.
Independent Bookstore Campaign – I’ll write a sales letter for your book and then email it to the top 600 indie booksellers in the U.S. Note: You can then use the sales letter to help you write news releases, catalog copy, web sales copy, etc. Once written by me, it’s yours to use as long as you want. – Fee: $200
Note: I’ll also tweet, pin, post, plusone, and share your sales letter page (once you post it on your site). This will go to over 50,000 followers.
Run an Alexa 400,000 or Bust Campaign – I’ll carry out a campaign to get your website ranked 400,000 or better on Alexa. That means more traffic to your website and sales pages and, it is hoped, also more book sales. Fee: $200
Create 3 New Products Service – I’ll help you to create 3 new products to go along with your book. You can sell these products or give them away. Your choice. These products will have a retail value between $10 and $97. Fee: $500 (pre-launch discount).
Book Title Critiques – Let me help you brand your book into a bestselling title. Fee: normally $125 but now only $100.
New Release Critique – I will critique your news release or sales letter and help you write a better one. In fact, I’ll write it for you. This news release or sales letter will help you get more notice, and thus more book sales. Fee: normally $300 but now only $200.
Book Critique – Before you spend a ton of money or time promoting your book, let me help you make it better. I’ll critique your book and show you where you can make it better. This is not a line-by-line edit. It is an overview of your book to find the places where it could be made better – for much greater sales! I’ll help you create a book worth the best word-of-mouth. Fee: $300.
Website Creation – I’ll create a 5-page website ready for you to add more content to with a blog. The 5 pages will include a book sales page, author bio, resource page, home page, and at least one blog post. Fee: $350.
Note: I’ll also tweet, pin, post, plusone, and share your website pages as I create them. That will start to drive traffic to your website right away!
Here’s a website I recently created: http://www.areyousafebook.com
Top 10 Literary Agents – I’ll customize a list of the top 10 literary agents who would be best helping you sell rights to your book. I’ll also write and send an introductory email to one of the top agents where I’ll recommend you and your book. Fee: $125.
Top 10 Book Publishers – I’ll customize a list of the top 10 book publishers who would be the best publishers for your book. I’ll also write and send an introductory email to one of the top publishers where I’ll recommend you and your book. Fee: $125.
Top 10 Book Publicists – I’ll customize a list of the top 10 book publicists who would be best for your specific book. I’ll also write and send an introductory email to one of the top publicists where I’ll recommend you and your book. Fee: $125.
Top 10 Websites – I’ll customize a list of the top 10 websites for your book – high-traffic targeted websites. The list will include how to contact them, what kind of content they can use, and a profile of their target audience and traffic. Fee: $125.
Note: I’ll be adding pages on BookMarketingBestsellers.com describing each new service, but for now you can just call me at 575-751-3398 or email me at johnfkremer@gmail.com to discuss these various services.
If you don’t see a book marketing service you’d like, ask me if it’s something I could do. Just call or email me with your questions.
Inspirational Quote from Steve Jobs
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that

were no smarter than you. And you can change it. You can influence it.

You can build your own things that other people can use. — Steve Jobs

This is not only true about computers, software, iPhones, and iPads.

It’s also true of novels, poetry, screenplays, books, ebooks, videos,

audio books, websites, blogs, and other information products.

You can build what others will value.

You can write books that entertain people.

You can write books that educate and inform people.

You can write books that inspire people.

You can write books that alert people to changes that need to be made.

You can write books that enlighten the world. — John Kremer
