Life and everything else
It’s been a pretty slow week work wise, and in life, really. I have gotten a ton of reading done though. Thank goodness for audiobooks. They’ve helped this week fly by.
Also, after watching Lin-Manuel Miranda on SNL last weekend, the kids and I are totally hooked on Hamilton. I know we’re late to the game, but good gravy why did I wait so damn long to pick up the album. We listen to it a lot. Boy Child said if it ever travels and comes to Dallas, we’re going to see it. Now maybe I can sneak some other musical albums in and they will get all the awesome.
Speaking of musicals, The Rocky Horror Picture Show remake will be on TV Thursday night. I’m a little nervous. It’s one of my favorites, and I really don’t want to be disappointed. But we’ll see what happens. I have Girl Scout stuff to do that night so I’ll be watching when I get home. DVR is my best friend.
And 13 nights of Halloween starts on Wednesday on Freeform!!! I own pretty much all the movies they show, but it saves me the trouble of looking through our DVDs for them. But again, I’ll miss the first ones because I have other plans with my cousin.
Basically this week will be insane with all the things going on.
