Life and everything else

It’s been such a crazy and hectic week.  But the good thing about hectic weeks are that they go by super fast.  This next week will be just as busy. We are getting ready for NoLa StoryCon, and I so effing excited. I can’t wait to meet some of the authors I haven’t had a chance to meet yet.  If you’re going to be there next weekend, or in the New Orleans area, let me know and we can meet. I love meeting fellow bloggers in the real world.

We also started a new feature where we talk about what we’re watching that week.  It basically gives me a place to talk about Project Runway. We are also adding a new team member.  We’ll have an introduction post for Ashley soon. I’m excited to have her join our lil’ ol’ blog.

How has your week been? Anything fun with fall finally here? (I’m just ready for these 100 and 90 degree days to be gone!)

Life and everything else

I got a job at Barnes & Noble! My orientation is on Tuesday and I’m super excited about it. I’ll be a barista/café worker, but also cross-trained to work other areas of the store. Super excited for it! Also, we moved this past Tuesday so I’ve been super busy trying to unpack and change my address and all that. Starting to calm down, now though thankfully.

Life and everything else

It’s been such a long week! Working and going to school is easier than I thought it would be, but still so stressful! Today I walked around town with Tiffani catching Pokemon and hanging up fliers. I’m stoked she’s finally not three hours away and is more accessible. I also decided I should stop waiting for things to come to me and go out and chase my dreams. So, the fliers Tiff and I put up were for band mates. Who knew it would be so hard to find people into and willing to play music? What did you this week to further your goals?
