TALOFEKU
The title of this movie is obviously a question. Talofeku(who wants’ to die?) well, not me. Going by the title, I was expecting an action movie or so, but it’s still a good story of betrayal and nemesis. It is written and produced by Olalekan Olatunji and directed by Sola Oyedele.
The 1hour 30 minutes movie features Odunlade Adekola(OLA) Fathia Balogun(DUPE) Olalekan Olatunji(Dipo) Bolatito Ileyemi(YINKA)
Odunlade Adekola (OLA) finds himself in a big dilemma when a girl (YINKA) he picked for a one night enjoyment dies in his room. He had to bribe with 8 million naira to have the case buried, also, some one is after his life, he has narrowly escaped assassination, he has to relocate to keep his life safe but little did he know that a man’s enemy is of his house hold
Olalekan Olatunji(DIPO) thinks the only way he can get money from his friend and benefactor OLA is by setting him up, making him to pay 8 million naira, in fact the best thing is to eliminate him, but every day is for the thief, one day is for the owner. He didn’t play his cards right .So, his victory and extravagant live was cut short when the long arm of justice caught up with him
Bolatito Ileyemi(YINKA) She was the trap used against Ola, and she thought relocating with her own share of the deal will be the end of the matter, she forgot the world is a little place. At first she was the trap, later she became the bait for catching her partners in crime.
There is a definite end for every evil doer, this movie has a lesson to it and the viewer is granted the privilege to see how the movie was made. It has some obvious flaws, especially in characterization and editing but the message is not tampered with.

Scores for some elements that makes this movie what it is.

RUKAYAT
CAST :TOYIN AIMAKU, FEMI ADEBAYO, FATHIA BALOGUN
DIRECTOR:TOPE ADEBAYO
PRODUCER:MORENIKE ALAUSA
Toyin Aimakhu(RUKAYAT), has this movie centered around her. I know her to be a very impressive actress, in fact she is one of my favorite actress because of her ability to interprete roles flawlessly. Being a muslim devotee, a philanthropist, and so on, one would expect that things will be rosy for her but she suffered disappointment in her love life after being dumped by her third fiancé for her in ability to conceive. She still continues her good deeds. Her helping Femi Adebayo(JIBOLA) by giving him a total stranger her kidney, has brought another opportunity for her to love again, but she is not ready to give love another chance, not after all she had gone through.
JIBOLA(Femi Adebayo) will not relent till he gets the love of RUKAYAT, the lady who has saved his life by donating a kidney for him. Though she is giving him a tough time, but as he said “people like her come by once in a year” he will not let this chance slip away, this might be his chance for true love he will rather die than not have her. He is ready to give it all it takes; all the embarrassment she has been giving him is not enough to discourage him. Well, the concluding part of this story will tell us if he succeeded or put to shame
Fathia Balogun(Jibola’s brother) though she appreciates what Rukayat has done for brother, but she will rather he looks for another girl to marry hence she is proving difficult, but not his ex, she left him in time of trouble, she will ensure his ex is not given another chance
This is a good story but would have been made better if the writer had spiced things up a bit or maybe the spices have reserved for the part 2. There are obvious flaws in acting of some characters.

MESAYA
CAST: SAIDI BALOGUN, SOLA KOSOKO, AFONJA OLANIYI
DIRECTOR:ADEBAYO TIJANI
PROCUCER:ADEYEMI KAZEEM

Human Angels are real, though they might be familiar faces but the role they have been destined to play in our lives will benefit us if we allow them, unlike SAIDI BALOGUN(Badejo) an obstinate and stubborn man who did not realize that god has made his daughter his angel, if only he will listen to her, but due to his “I know it all” nature, he found in a turbulence situation that wrecked his business, his marriage is at the verge of breaking up, he has to retrace his steps for things to come back to normal. Hope it wouldn’t be too late for him?
Despite her father’s stubborn nature, Salewa(Fatia oladejo) would not relent in telling her father the truth, her ability to see into the future should have been a thing of joy to him, but instead it puts them in constant dis-agreement. Even though most of her prediction always come to pass, he still wouldn’t believe her, may be because of her tender age or something. Now that her father has almost destroyed his life, she has to save the situation, despite his negligence and stubbornness
SOLA KOSOKO(SALEWAS MUM) Only her husband could see the special gift that the daughter carry. The back turn of thing In his business was not enough to humble him, but by their narrow escape from a motor accident, she was able to turn her attention to their daughters special gifts.
This movie is full of life lessons that will make you to begin to value people around you because they might be your saving grace tomorrow. Though it has some obvious faults in continuity, editing, translation, and I wonder why some of the ladies have to wear the same style of hair throughout the movie.
Straight to my score board.

IDAA
This movie is directed by Muyhdeen S. Ayinde, written and produced by Dayo Amusa who also feature in this movie alongside Veteran Deju Lewis, and Femi Adebayo.
Remember the saying “health is wealth” yes, but so many people have misplaced the order and are so paying dearly. This is the case of Bamgboye(Dejumo Lewis) a wealthy man in his 60s, but works as if he was 30. Even though he has no cumbersome family responsibility, he chooses to over work himself, instead retire and enjoy the remaining days of his life with his young wife (Dayo Amusa) IBIDUN or at least take the doctor’s advice of observing a proper rest. Well, in a snap, he lost his life.
The death of her husband was sorrowful (Dayo Amusa) was his rock, she rules her house hold with an iron fist and she has her youthfulness and vibrancy to thank for that. She recalls the memory of her late husband in tears, she tried so hard to make him take his health serious but he wouldn’t listen and has made her a widow in a short time of their marriage. The loss may only be the beginning of her woes, she has not been in the good books of her servants, and they have a very bad plan for her. Hope she escapes it.
This movie portrays the essence of giving proper attention to one’s health, and the danger of negligence. It’s that movie that will make you want to go for medical checkup. It’s enlightens and full of comic relief. So, you can ignore the minor flaws and enjoy it.
Let’s go to the score board.

ELULU
What a wicked world we live in. A world of “live and let die”, a world where people use other peoples head as the rung of the ladder of success. So pathetic and heart renting is this movie ELULU. Produced by Ibironke Kabir Ade and directed by Rasaq Aderugba and Ajani Ogunleye.
It feature’s prolific Actors like Odunlade Adekola(GBEMINIYI) Fathia Balogun(OJUOLAPE) Adebayo Salami(AGBABIAKA) Antar Olaniyan(AJIBADE) .
The movie centers around Odunlade Adekola(GBEMINIYI). A promising young man who was struck with insanity by his encounter with a lunatic, despite his state , he is being loved by many due to his friendliness and good fortune he brings, especially to people who play lotto. Luck smiles on him by his encounter with OJUOLAPE(FATHIA BALOGUN) , whom has not only showed him love and acceptance, but also saw to it that he got his healing mentally, but the sudden re-occurrence of his madness, especially at every verge of breakthrough, represent a bleak future for him. Only God can save him
Despite the oppositions from family and friends, OJUOLAPE (Fathia Balogun) will not let go of Gbeminiyi, she got enchanted by him from the first time she set her eyes on him, though he was mad, and still carries the stigma, even though he is violent with her sometimes and regardless the fact that he has frequent attacks mentally, even after getting a cure for him, her love for him is ever strong. She will go to the depth of the sea to make sure he comes out of this embarrassing situation and any person or people behind his predicament will go for it, even if it’s her father.
Antar Olaniyan (AJIBADE) Just like any father, desire that hid daughter whom is of marriageable age will bring home her Fiancé, well, but not this lunatic, whom on the first time of meeting him started exhibiting some lunacy behavior. If his Daughter is bent on marring a mad man, then he is left with no choice but to disown her, even her mother. He is not ready to share in this shame, but wait, why is OJUOLAPE pointing a gun at him? Well, we will get to know in subsequent part. Don’t worry ill get you posted
Lovely movie, I must say, emotional, with a little use of special effect. So, if you want your emotions provoked, this is the movie for you. Despite the few technical faults, it hasn’t tamper with the flavor of the movie.
Now, my scores for some element that makes this movie what it is.
