Halloween is right around the corner, less than a week away. Cable, satellite, and streaming services all take notice, and capitalize on those who prefer their scares from the comfort of their home.
BoneheadPicks loves their horror, too. And to properly celebrate the season, we’ve gathered all the Halloween entertainment you can stand, and created a horror TV guide. On the annual fright fest Halloween episode, Sideshow Bob (Kelsey Grammer) finally kills Bart (Nancy Cartwright), only to reanimate him; Homer (Dan Castellaneta) wakes up with short-term memory loss; and Lisa (Yeardley Smith), Bart, and Milhouse (Pamela Hayden) get super powers from radiation.
Stephen King Thriller Week — Oct. 25 beginning at 8pm on SundanceTV. Fan-favorite films based on the works of Stephen King, including the 35th anniversary of Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine: “Halloween III” — Oct. 25 at 8:30pm on FOX. The third installment of Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) and Jake’s (Andy Samberg) Halloween heist culminates with a tiebreaking competition to claim the title of “amazing detective slash genius.” This year, Jake and Holt draft the squad into two teams to help them win.
Nightwatch: “The Darkest Shift on the Scariest Night” — Oct. 25 at 9pm on A&E. Halloween provides a fitting backdrop to a night on the job that includes some chilling calls.
Family Guy: “Peternormal Activity” — Oct. 25 at 9pm on FOX. The guys go to an abandoned asylum seeking inspiration for a new horror movie idea, but end up accidentally killing a man they think is keeping them hostage. Wracked with guilt, they each try to pin the murder on someone else.
Alaska Haunting — Oct. 25 at 10pm on Destination America. Season finale airs tonight.
The Chew — Oct. 26-30 at 1pm on ABC. All week, the hosts celebrate Halloween. On Oct. 30, they will reveal their costumes which they each secretly chose for each other earlier in October.
The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Marathon (Theme: “Nightmares”) — Oct. 26 from 8-10:30pm on FXX. From Seasons 2-3, and Seasons 5-7.
Fear: Buried Alive — Oct. 26 at 8pm on A&E. A&E Network will kick off Halloween with one of the most chilling psychological experiments ever on live television when three people are buried alive in an effort to conquer their darkest fears. In this two-hour live event, the participants will be sealed in underground coffins and closely monitored under scientific conditions as they endure a series of escalating horrors designed to test the strength of their psyches.
Dancing With the Stars — Oct. 26 at 8pm on ABC. A Halloween episode filled with performances from the remaining eight couples.
Cursed: The Bell Witch — Oct. 26 at 10pm on A&E. This series tells the story of one of the most enduring ghost stories in American history. In the early 1800s, the legend goes, a Tennessee landowner named John Bell killed a woman named Katy Batts. From beyond the grave, Katy cursed her murderer’s family bloodline: The first-born male of each generation would be driven mad or would suffer an untimely death. Over the years, six Bell men have suffered one of the fates she predicted. And now, in the present, John Ceallach, a direct descendent of John Bell, learns that his fourteen-year-old son — the oldest male in his generation — may be the next victim. This five-episode series will document John’s high-stakes personal journey, as he sets out to “reverse the curse” and save his son.

Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris — Oct. 27 at 8pm on NBC. In this Halloween-themed episode, Kelly Ripa is the guest announcer, and Ray Parker Jr. takes the stage in Singalong Live with the song “Ghostbusters.”
Fresh Off the Boat: “Miracle on Dead Street” — Oct. 27 at 8:30pm on ABC. It’s the Huangs’ first Halloween in the suburbs, and Louis is determined to turn their “dead” street into a prime destination for trick-or-treaters.And as Louis, Eddie, Emery, Evan and even Grandma Huang show off their elaborate costumes, Jessica has bigger plans – to protect her investment property from teenage pranksters.
Secrets of the Dead: “Vampire Legend” — Oct. 27 at 9pm on PBS (check local listings). This episode follows a group of scientists as they uncover ‘deviant’ burials dating back to medieval England, pointing to a belief that the dead could rise from their graves. Predating Eastern European legend, these discoveries force a reexamination of modern vampire lore. The show features an interview with a modern-day vampire slayer, who, for the first time publicly, gives his account of the vampire-slaying ritual.
Rachael Ray — Oct. 28 (syndicated, check local listings). American Horror Story‘s Sarah Paulson chats with Rachael; Genevieve Gorder takes on John Gidding in a Halloween competition about who can make the coolest costume from items at a dollar store.
The Middle: “Halloween VI: Tick Tock Death” — Oct. 28 at 8pm on ABC. Halloween finds the Hecks in their own Twilight Zone-type stories.
The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Marathon (Theme: “Tales of Science Fiction”) — Oct. 28 from 8-10pm on FXX. From Season 9, 13, 15 and 20.
Treasures From the Disney Vault — Oct. 28 beginning at 8pm on TCM. The fourth installment of this ongoing showcase, hosted by Leonard Maltin, has a Halloween flavor to it, and includes seven movies and shorts, including The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949), The Ghosts of Buxley Hall (1980) and Tim Burton’s short film Frankenweenie from 1984.
The Goldbergs: “Couples Costume” — Oct. 28 at 8:30pm on ABC. When Dana comes to visit Adam for Halloween, he wants to spend the night with her and not Beverly. Trying to cope with this turn of events, Beverly decides to teach Adam a lesson about how dangerous the holiday can be, but the tables turn on Beverly. Later, Barry and Erica convince Adam to take Dana to a haunted house. Adam refuses to go back inside when Dana loses her promise ring, and an unlikely family member helps him.
Modern Family: “Halloween 3: Awesomeland” — Oct. 28 at 9pm on ABC. Even through Halloween is Claire’s holiday, she allows Phil to take over this year. Instead of her usual fright-fest theme, he decides to turn the house into “Awesomeland.” Gloria picks out Princess Fiona and Shrek costumes for her and Jay, but Jay decides he wants to be Prince Charming — with a complete head of gorgeous hair — instead. And with the hair comes a new sense of confidence. Elsewhere, Cam gets overwhelmed by the day’s activities and Mitchell has closing arguments on a huge case, which isn’t helped by the court stenographer being dressed like a spider.
Ghost Hunters — Oct. 28 at 9pm on Syfy. In this special Halloween episode, the TAPS team goes on location to investigate the legend of a mysterious love triangle that could be at the root of frightening paranormal activity at Vermont College.
Expedition Unknown: “Hunting Vampires” — Oct. 28 at 9pm on Travel Channel. An archeological dig in Bulgaria has revealed what appears to be the 700-year-old skeletal remains of real-life vampires. Meanwhile, Romanian villagers have been arrested for digging up suspected vampires in the local graveyard. What’s really going on here? In this special episode timed to Halloween, Josh Gates travels across Transylvania to follow the legend of the vampire from its shadowy origins to a modern day mystery.
black-ish: “Jacked o’ Lantern” — Oct. 28 at 9:30pm on ABC. Ever since he was a kid, Dre has loved Halloween. Now that he lives in one of those “good candy neighborhoods,” kids come from all over the city to trick-or-treat, including Dre’s own nieces and nephews. Michael Strahan guest-stars.
American Horror Story: Hotel: “Devil’s Night” — Oct. 28 at 10pm on FX. John receives an invitation to attend an exclusive Devil’s Night soiree; Alex tries to diagnose Holden’s strange condition.
Paranormal Witness: “The Real Conjuring” — Oct. 28 at 10pm on Syfy. This special Halloween episode tells the real story of the family depicted in the hit horror film The Conjuring.
American Pickers: “Pick or Treat” — Oct. 28 at 11:03pm on History. With a line-up of hair-raising Halloween picks, the guys crawl back underground in Pennsylvania in search of the “Mole Man.”
General Hospital — Oct. 29 at 3pm on ABC. Tricks and treats abound leading up to Port Charles’ big Halloween bash at the Haunted Star on Friday, Oct. 30 with a dramatic reveal that will change everything.
It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown — Oct. 29 at 8pm on ABC. An hourlong special that includes the original Peanuts classic and the bonus cartoon “You’re Not Elected, Charlie Brown.”
Bones/Sleepy Hollow Crossover — Oct. 29 at 8pm and 9pm on FOX. In Bones, airing at 8pm with the “The Resurrection in the Remains” episode, the grisly discovery of human remains lead Brennan and Booth on ahunt for clues, during which they encounter Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills, who are searching for their own answers. They team to solve the mystery. Immediately following on Sleepy Hollow at 9pm, with “Dead Men Tell No Tales,” the intrigue continues as Ichabod’s old nemesis is back from the dead. Ichabod and Abbie need advanced forensic help and expertise to stop him, so they turn to Brennan and Booth to unlock 18th-century secrets using 21st-century evidence.

Jimmy Kimmel Live — Oct. 29 at 11:35pm on ABC. Jimmy and his crew continue their yearly tradition and all dress up for Halloween — this year as Star Wars characters along with special guests Harrison Ford and Katie Lowes.
Rachael Ray — Oct. 30 (syndicated, check local listings). For Halloween, Rachael walks with dinosaurs as she plays cavewoman for a day; Chef Robert Irvine, dressed as the Hulk, cooks roast chicken; a Mystery Trick-or-Treater shows up.
LIVE With Kelly and Michael — Oct. 30 (syndicated, check local listings). The show presents its annual Halloween spooktacular “LIVE’s Best Halloween Show Ever: Nightmare on 67th Street.” In the annual spine-chilling episode celebrating All Hollow’s Eve, hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan transform into 2015’s buzziest figures in pop-culture and entertainment. This year, the duo will pay homage to Star Wars, Empire, and Magic Mike.
Modern Marvels: “Halloween Tech” — Oct. 30 at 8am on History. Halloween has become a six billion dollar industry. Go behind-the-scenes at Knott’s Berry Farm’s 35th annual Halloween Haunt. Learn how to apply Hollywood grade monster make-up, watch scary latex masks cranked out by the thousands and discover which costumes are past and present winners. See the most extreme jack-o-lanterns ever made, find out how hundreds of gallons of fake blood are manufactured and finally visit a haunted house with an annual attendance of over 50,000.
Ghost Adventures Marathon — Oct. 30 from 9am-midnight on Travel Channel. Episodes of the series hand-picked by the host and leading investigator Zak Bagans.
Let’s Make a Deal — Oct. 30 on CBS (check local listings). With multiple cars, a trip to Prague and a new high tech item just for Halloween, the ultra-cool “Black Magic” camera, traders have the chance to win a total of $106,270.00 worth of cash and prizes. Every game is part of the fun, especially the annual favorite Bobbing for Apples, bringing with it a chance to win a Fiat and The Big Deal worth over $25,000. Vampire Secrets — Oct. 30 at 10am on History. The vampire myth is much older than Count Dracula, popping up from Athens to Beijing almost 1000 years before the Transylvanian legend. Vampire legends have two things in common: drinking blood and returning from the dead.
The View — Oct. 30 at 11am on ABC. Guest Seth MacFarlane takes part in “A Villainous View Halloween.”
The Price Is Right — Oct. 30 at 11am on CBS (10am PT). The game show celebrates Halloween.
The Young and the Restless — Oct. 30 at 12:30pm on CBS (11:30am PT). The drama and danger begin when a mysterious person sets fire to the newly reopened restaurant at Newman Enterprises, “Top of the Tower,” where Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni) are hosting a glamorous Halloween Gala.
The Bold and the Beautiful — Oct. 30 at 1:30pm on CBS (12:30pm PT). A Halloween costume party is held at Forrester Creations, with Pam (Alley Mills) and Charlie (Dick Christie) in charge of planning and decorating.
The Talk — Oct. 30 at 2pm ET/1pm PT on CBS. In this Halloween episode, the hosts transform into iconic musicians. Joey Fatone is special guest host.
The Twilight Saga Halloween Marathon — Oct. 30 from 5pm-4am; and Oct. 31 from 7am-6pm on FX.
Last Man Standing: “Halloween” — Oct. 30 at 8pm on ABC. On Halloween, Mike and Chuck decide to spend the evening watching football instead of passing out candy with their wives. But when Vanessa and Carol start pranking them, the competition is on to see who can out-prank who. Kyle dresses up like his hero, Ed, but Ed has a surprising response to Kyle’s imitation of him.

TCM Horror: Val Lewton Horror — Oct. 30 at 8pm on TCM. Movies from influential horror producer Val Lewton.
Dr. Ken: “Halloween-Aversary” — Oct. 30 at 8:30pm on ABC. The episode opens with a flashback to Ken’s botched marriage proposal on Halloween. Now 20 years later, Ken tries to arrange the perfect re-proposal for Allison.
Hawaii Five-0: “Na Pilikua Nui (Monsters)” — Oct. 30 at 9pm on CBS. It’s Halloween in O’ahu, and Five-0 must track down a serial killer inspired by Frankenstein. Also, Jerry calls Five-0 for help when an armed gang raids a blood bank, and Danny must track down Grace, who lied and snuck out to a Halloween party.
Exorcism: Live! — Oct. 30 at 9pm Live on Destination America. Billed as “the first-ever live televised exorcism in U.S. history,” this live special visits the house that inspired the iconic horror novel and film The Exorcist. In 1949, this house in St. Louis was supposedly the scene of an exorcism performed on a 14-year-old boy to rid him of demonic possession. Now, the Tennessee Wraith Chasers of Destination America’s Ghost Asylum, along with medium Chip Coffey, try to bring peace to the home.
Grimm: “The Grimm Identity” — Oct. 30 at 9pm on NBC. In the season premiere, in the wake of his mother’s beheading and Juliette’s death, things have never been more chaotic for Nick (David Giuntoli). Having lost so much, Nick must dig deep and decide what type of person he wants to be, while also coming to grips with fathering a child with his once sworn enemy, Adalind (Claire Coffee).
Live From Lincoln Center: “Danny Elfman’s Music From the Films of Tim Burton” — Oct. 30 at 9pm on PBS (check local listings). Composer/performer Danny Elfman is in the spotlight in this Halloween special, which features performances of his most beloved music from films that he has collaborated on with director Tim Burton, including Batman, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Mars Attacks!, Pee-wee’s Big Adventure and The Nightmare Before Christmas, which features Elfman singing his iconic songs. Complementing the music are film clips from selected movies, original sketches and storyboards created by Burton, and special interviews with Burton, Paul Reubens and Johnny Depp.
Ghost Adventures — Extra Pulses: “Exorcist House” — Oct. 30 at 9pm on Travel Channel. The “Ghost Adventures” team investigates the Exorcist House in St. Louis, Mo., site of the most famous demonic possession in paranormal history. This special episode has been enhanced with pop-ups of fun facts and updates since the team first investigated for the series’ monumental 100th episode in Season Eight.
Discovery Family’s Halloween Marathon — Oct. 31, all day, on Discovery Family. A day of spooky specials and episodes, including a new special episode of My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic. Back-to-back Halloween-themed movies will air in primetime.
Haunted History Marathon — Oct. 31 from 10am-6pm on History.
The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Marathon — Oct. 31 from 12pm-12:30am on FXX. All 25 Treehouse of Horror episodes air in consecutive order.
Halloween FREAKend Marathon — Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 from 12pm-7pm on Nat Geo Wild. A marathon of episodes of World’s Weirdest.
Fan-voted Top Ten Ghost Adventures Marathon — Oct. 31 from 11am-9pm on Travel Channel. A fan poll will run at TravelChannel.com from Oct. 27-24, with viewers able to vote on their favorite episode of Ghost Adventures. The 10 episodes with the most votes will air tonight.
Scream Queens Marathon — Oct. 31 from 6pm-midnight on FX. The first six episodes of the new series will air back-to-back.
Halloween Movie Marathon — Oct. 31 at 8pm on TCM. Curse of the Demon, Dead of Night and other creepy classics.
Jack-o-Lantern Live — Oct. 31 at 8pm on TLC. This two-hour block is sort of a Halloween-themed yule log, with viewers enjoying views of the most intricate pumpkin carvings from Roloff Farms. Leading up to this, from Oct. 26-31 on TLC.com, users can see an inside look at the Fall Festival at Roloff Farms, which is run by the Roloff family of Little People Big World.
Ash vs Evil Dead — Oct. 31 at 9pm on Starz. The 10-episode first season of this half-hour series is executive produced by Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell, the original filmmakers of the Evil Dead franchise, to which this show is a follow-up. Campbell reprises his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons personal and literal. Costarring with Campbell are Lucy Lawless, Ray Santiago, Dana DeLorenzo and Jill Marie Jones.
Ghost Adventures: “Deadwood: City of Ghosts” — Oct. 31 at 9pm on Travel Channel. In this year’s special two-hour Halloween episode, the “Ghost Adventures” team embarks on a full-scale investigation of Deadwood, S.D. Known as one of the deadliest towns in American history, Deadwood is shrouded in violence, betrayal and paranormal activity. In a lockdown like no other, the crew investigates a number of the town’s famed buildings.
Alaska Monsters: “Bigfoot of Matanuska: Klondike Crawler” — Oct. 31 at 10pm on Destination America.
The Returned Season 2 — Begins Oct. 31 at 10pm on SundanceTV. The second season of “The Returned” picks up six months after the deceased gathered outside the Helping Hand shelter before disappearing into the mountains with Simon (Pierre Perrier), Camille (Yara Pilartz), her mother, Claire (Anne Consigny), Julie (Céline Sallette) and the mysterious youngster Victor (Swann Nambotin).
