Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is produced and directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra on a script written by Prasoon Joshi. Farhan Akhtar, Sonam Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Pavan Malhotra and Meesha Shafi are in lead roles. The movie is based on “The Flying Sikh” Milkha Singh, an Indian athlete who was a national champion runner and an Olympian. The film is doing exceptionally well at the box office.
Sonam has a special appearance playing the love of Milkha’s life. In an interview she says “It’s completely Farhan’s film. I’m like a piece of jewelry in it — an accessory”.
Costumes are designed by designer Dolly Ahluwalia, who has done a good job. Sonam Kapoor is playing the role of Biro a Punjabi girl from a small village near Punjab. In the movie she is spotted wearing traditional kurtis, Indian salwar kameez and Patiala salwars.

She is playing a simple girl from a small village in Punjab who fells in love with Indian athlete Milkha Singh. Ms Ahluwalia has given her a look that suits her role perfectly. Printed kurti in floral patterns looks great on her slim figure. Her long hair are kept braided in most of the scenes in the movie with simple makeup and gold dangling in her ears.
