The makers of the hit ‘Raaz’ franchise have finally decided to call it a day with the latest and the last release of the successful venture. Yes, Vishesh films have decided to give a glorious end to the ‘Raaz’ franchise after fourteen years with ‘Raaz Reboot’. The Emraan Hashmi, Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora starrer will be the last in the horror series.
Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt confirming the news said, “This series, which has nourished and sustained us for 14 years, has finally come to its glorious end. ‘Raaz Reboot’ is by far the finest human take that has been woven into the horror genre by Vikram Bhatt.”
Director Vikram Bhatt revealed how each installment added something new, if the first brought about the reality of marriage, the other was about how addiction of fame causes a person’s downfall. The latest is on secrets become enemy of love. But each one even though based on the supernatural, in their own way added a human approach to the subject.
Actor Emraan Hashmi whose association with the franchise started as the assistant director with the first part and then we went on to star in the consecutive parts. He is the lead in the finale of the supernatural thriller. The entire movie has been shot in Romania, and was a nerve-wracking experience for the actor to shoot for this film.
Produced by Vishesh films, the movie is all set to release on September 16.
