2015 has not been a good year for Bollywood Industry. It is the 10th month of the year and till now we have watched only a few good Bollywood movies as far as content is concerned. Bollywood Movies like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Piku, Baby, Drishyam were commercially as well as critically successful on the box office. Well, 2015 year is about to end and we will be graceful much excited for the next year. We are also very entertained after seeing the list of upcoming Bollywood movies that will be going to release next year. Yes, it will be going to be tough and rough. Watch here the list of the most awaited upcoming Bollywood movies, releasing in 2016.
Airlift:
Airlift movie is the story about the Indians, who stranded in Kuwait during a traumatic time of Saddam Hussein’s aggression. Akshay Kumar plays the character of an upscale and powerful Indian businessmen, who unknowingly becomes as savior, a man who all the Kuwaiti-Indians look up to for getting them carefully out from Kuwait. Airlift movie is directed by Raja Krishna Menon began filming in April 2015 and will be released on 22, January 2016.
Sultan:
Sultan movie will be directed by director Ali Abbas Zafar. Bollywood Salman Khan has already started training for the upcoming movie Sultan. News are that the plot of the movie Sultan revolves around a father-son duo and both will be essayed by the actor himself. Sultan will be the first film where Salman Khan will be seen as an old man. Though Salman will gradually age as the film progresses. Sultan movie will be released on Eid 2016.
Shivaay:
Shivaay movie is Ajay Devgn’s second movie as a director. Ajay Devgan said that, “ Shivaay Movie revolves around the infirmity of Lord Shiva and how it creates him strong. Shivaay is not an epic,but a modern take on the story.” Shivaay also stars Dilip Kumar’s grand-niece Sayesha Saigal. Sayesha Saigal will be making her debut as Sati. Shivaay movie will be is released around Diwali 2016.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil:
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a multi-starer romantic movie of Karan Johar. It has been reported that the movie will present Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. Apparently it will not be a happy, romantic love story movie, but a somewhat painful one.

Mohenjo Daro:
Mohenjo Daro is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker is a more ambitious movie till date with a massive budget of Rs 100 Crores. Starring Bollywood Actors Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hedge, the movie is set in the antique city of Mohenjo-Daro. The movie will be released on 12 August, 2016.
Fan:
Fan movie is Directed by Maneesh Sharma, The movie is based on a crazy fan. Shah Rukh Khan will play the characters of a superstar and that of a common fan, named Gaurav. The character of Gaurav is a great fan of the superstar. The movie will be released on April 15, 2016.
Raees:
Raees movie is a crime-thriller movie directed by Rahul Dholakia. The movie stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddique and Mahira Khan in main lead roles. Raees movie shows the story of a cruel and cunning bootlegger, played by Shah Rukh Khan. The movie will be released on 8 July 2016.
Dangal:
Dangal is a biopic movie based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will be seen essaying the Mahavir Singh Phogat’s role. Dangal movie will be released around Christmas next year.
Azhar:
Azhar movie is based on the life of a former Indian team cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin. The movie is directed by Tony D’Souza, the film relives the match fixing scandal of 2000 in which Mohammad Azharuddin himself was accused. Bollywood actress Prachi Desai will essay the role of Azhar’s first wife. Azhar movie will release on 13th May 2016.
Housefull 3:
The third part of Housefull series will also come in the theaters next year. It will feature Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon in main lead roles.
