**IT Service Transition Analyst**

This role is based in our Oxford HQ – a modern prestige building – and geographic coverage for the post spans more than 15 offices in Northern Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Russia.

As an IT Service Transition Analyst you will get the opportunity to utilize and develop crucial business and IT skills using industry standards such as ITIL, Prince2/PMI/Agile, and Six Sigma.

The first thing you’ll do is get an understanding of our business, our people, and our projects – and how you fit in to it all. You’ll be expected to make a positive contribution by giving your insight and opinion and BD will help ensure you have the right resources and support to nurture that contribution.

This particular role, the IT Service Transition Analyst, is linked to the ITIL v3 process model and plays a crucial part in the deployment and transition of new IT services and solutions (hardware and software) into the organization. The role is part of the Global IT Service Delivery organization which comprises a number of COEs (Centre’s of Excellence). In broad terms it entails working closely with both the business users, and the global IT engineering/support teams.

The role holder will:

* Introduce IT services into the company using a blend of project management and service management methods.
* Transition new IT services from ‘Project’ phase to ‘Production Support’ phase.
* This involves working with the IT engineering teams toward the end of the development phase to ensure the IT service is ready for hand-over to the support team. The role will also be responsible for generating defined levels of success in each Service Transition with key focus being business value.
* The goal is to drive business productivity and benefits realization from the IT services we deliver. That means ensuring that everyone understands what is possible with the services, and is then equipped with the knowledge to exploit those possibilities.
* Lead projects to sustain and improve infrastructure and operations in the region. Will also contribute as a team member for projects in other regions and countries.
* Coordinate efforts between regional and global teams to resolve escalated issues with site based core infrastructure or standard Global Operation services to restore operations.

* Bachelor’s Degree in an IT or business subject, or equivalent experience

* Previous experience in a Service Desk Support role

* Experience training and supporting final users

**Desired**

* Experience in a consultancy environment will be very advantageous.
