**Field Service Engineer for the area North of Germany/South of Denmark**
KIESTRA is the leader in Total Lab Automation, and its solutions automate manual and time-consuming tasks within the microbiology laboratory to increase productivity, while still relying on the microbiologists’ technical expertise to deliver high-quality results.
The position reports to the European Manager Service.
**BASIC JOB PURPOSE:**
Improve and maintain Kiestra Lab Automation (KLA) systems and (software) applications with the goal to guarantee maximal system availability
Effective and on time system installation, preventive maintenance programs and corrective maintenance.
**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:**
* Installation and testing of new systems on customer sites (hard- and software)
* Preventive maintenance following written maintenance programs and protocols
* Corrective maintenance following Service Level Agreements between company and customer
* Carrying out modifications on systems
* Updating logbooks and writing service reports
**JOB DIMENSIONS:**

**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCES:**
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
* Escellent understanding of Computer systems an applications, PLC''s and databases
* Good knowledge of Laboratory environments
* Good knowledge of mechatronics and machine controls
