**Job Title:** Engineer, Integration Engineering Support Team
**Job Family Group \(Function\):** Engineering
**Working Hours:** Core business hours but not limited to Monday\-Friday work days
**On\-Call:** Not required at this time
**DoD Clearance:** Must be willing to go through a DoD background Check
**Location:** NASSC \(North American Shared Services Center\) San Antonio, TX

**Accountabilities:**
The Integration Engineer is responsible for providing Interface support for pharmacy, materials management and related healthcare systems for BD customers\.
Provide technical integration assistance to local operations team for resolution of Pyxis system platform as it relates to system and product interfacing\. The Integration Engineer is responsible for technical support elements of existing interface incidents\. The Integration Engineer will collaborate closely with local Engineers and Technical Support teams\.
**Day to Day Activities:**
+ Resolve system wide interface communications issue
+ Research and provide a solution to customers and Field engineers
+ Complete Interface change requests for ADT, Orders, Billing
+ Adjust and create Replenishment triggered events
+ Install required OS and product specific patches/Hotfixes
+ Perform Bill recovery functions
+ Schedule and perform Interface IP, port, Host connection changes
+ Perform Root Cause Analysis \(RCA\) when required
+ Address Customer interface questions
+ Maintain Product knowledge of BD interface platforms
**Communications:**
+ Conduct technical client meetings
+ Attend customer and team meetings as required
+ Provide written and verbal communications to team and client regarding technical issues and status of cases\.
+ Utilize internal documentation to research and provide technical support for customer integration needs\.
+ Provide product and vendor feedback, including technical direction, to the appropriate inter\-departmental members\.
+ Consult Senior and Principle Integration Engineers for continued support
+ Actively participate in all training opportunities outlined by established Integration Engineer Learning Path
+ Responsible for supporting all CareFusion product interfaces\.
**Administrative:**
+ Maintain all online applications with accurate site information and back\-up files
+ Utilize SAP CRM system to document all incident and troubleshooting steps
+ Adhere to the internal documentation quality standards
**Required Qualifications:**
+ BS Degree in Information Technology
+ HL7 and EDI \(Electronic Data Interchange\) interface knowledge required
+ Diagnosing and resolved Windows Server based issues including reviewing event logs
+ VMWare and/or Hyper\-V experience required
+ Experience with querying Microsoft SQL
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ CCNA, CompTIA Server\+ , CompTIA Network\+, MCSE or MCITP preferred
+ Experience with Windows SQL Server including backup/restoration
+ Experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
+ Wireshark experience a plus
+ Clinical workflow experience a plus
+ Pyxis platform experience a plus
+ Healthcare system HL7 messaging integration \(Implementation, Conversions, Projects\) a plus
+ Experience with Cerner, Epic, Siemens, MEDITECH, MEDHOST, VistA, Talyst or other hospital systems is a plus
+ DoD clearance a plus
+ Help Desk experience a plus
