SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Manager, IT Change Communications and using BD s refreshed change management methodology, this role is charged with providing change management oversight and consulting support for the IT function s reinvestment areas, including Automation, Data Analytics and Global Information Security\. The emphasis will be on defining the Global Information Security change communications approach and creating change communications materials to execute an integrated change plan to drive the behavioral changes needed\.

In this role, the resource will leverage change management technical skills, with consultative and business partnering skills, to understand the program objectives and develop a robust change and communications plan that can be implemented globally\. The successful candidate will have the ability to interact and influence messaging across the organization\. Deliverables and outcomes will range from building the change communications approach to writing messages and developing presentation materials\. The candidate should be able to manage both upward and outward to ensure that the best approach to managing change\.

Key Responsibilities:

+ As a team member of IT s User Experience and Change Integration Team, have a strong grasp of IT strategy, specific program strategy, and emerging technology to be able to provide organizational change management plans and solutions\.

+ Be able to work with Subject Matter Experts to translate what they are describing into terms that non\-technical individuals can easily understand and action against\.

+ Using IT s operating model and BD s change methodology, provide change management support for priority reinvestment programs for IT

+ Develop and implement an integrated organizational change management plan to drive behavioral changes required of users as part of a successful, upgraded Global Information Security program

+ Serve as an expert in the BD Change Management framework, toolkit and techniques to facilitate change capabilities and instill a change management mindset across IT

+ Partner with the Enterprise Program Management Office \(EPMO\) to provide the framework, toolsets and processes for projects and programs to utilize in the definition of effective engagement models and execute organizational change management across IT programs

+ Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of change management within the IT organization

+ Lead change management efforts related to Global Information Security

+ Enhance and extend IT s change management capabilities, methodologies and tools within the team and to other IT colleagues as we strive for continuous improvement

+ Develop strong working relationships across the Global Information Security team to gain a complete understanding of key activities, glean key priorities and identify any change management gaps to be addressedSphere of Influence:This role is responsible for interacting across all of IT and its stakeholders to support effective change integration, communications, training, and user experience for global programs in the IT portfolio\. Key partnerships include IT program managers, the Global Information Security team and Chief Information Security Officer \(CISO\), Business Relationship Managers and selected members of the IT leadership team plus their direct reports and our strategic delivery partners\.Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Understand the BD strategy and the IT strategy to ensure the approach to change management and communications is calibrated and prioritized, accordingly\. Develop a deep understanding of the BD Global Information Security program and its various work streams\. Support multiple IT programs and projects through the development of targeted organizational change management interventions\. Work closely with IT constituents and our stakeholders to understand impact of technology initiatives and tailor plans, accordingly\.

+ Be able to contribute new ideas and processes to make IT change management, communications, training and user experience more effective at BD\.

**Qualifications**

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

+ BS/BA Degree is required

+ 5\-7 years of experience in organizational change management planning and execution around large\-scale technology initiatives

+ Knowledge and experience in implementation of change management methodology and toolsets

+ Knowledge and experience with Information Security programs and related change management support programs

+ Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

+ Project Management, including Change and Communications Planning

+ Demonstrated success in translating ambiguous or complex requirements into content that is readily understandable by non\-IT professionals

+ Ability to provide candid observations and alternative solutions on business issues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in leading and supporting organizational change management programs on behalf of, or as a member of, a corporate IT department

Experience in leading and supporting organizational change management programs for technology initiatives as a management consultant at a major consulting firm

Experience with adult learning/training design, development and facilitation

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Project

Working knowledge of SharePoint collaboration tools

Knowledge of BD organization and processes

PROSCI, CCMP or related change management certification
