My boyfriend and I are selling our little sail boat in hopes of making some extra money for tuition in the spring. I've been a sailor for my whole life, growing up in Seattle, and know a lot about boats in general. If you're a first time boat owner or sailor this is a GREAT little boat, but it's also a serious amount of fun for experienced sailors because its so small and easy to use. It screams in the water and comes with a Hobie mast float so that if you capsize you won't turtle, which I think is a great feature for any level of experience.
Price includes:
- Clean, shiny, beautiful boat (can easily be sailed with a few family members and a dog, and case of beer)
- Small, electric powered motor (in case the wind dies) with brand new battery
- Trailer with new submersible lights
- Brand new sails that have only been used once, that cost us $1,000.
Basically I've priced the boat and trailer at $1800, and added on the sales for exactly what we paid for them. (But they will all be sold together)
