We're thinking of a cruise on Infinity next year. Looking over the deck plans, many of the concierge class staterooms are on deck 8. These supposedly have 191 sq feet of space and a 41 sq foot balcony - 8063 on the deck plans below is an example. However, directly below on deck 7 are standard rooms with only 170 sq feet of space with a 38 sq foot balcony - 7103 is an example that is directly under 8063. Both decks have a row of inside cabins of 170 sq feet between the two rows of balcony staterooms. All staterooms are the same width, which is obvious since the balconies on both decks are the same width.

So, how can the staterooms on deck 8 be 21 sq feet larger with a slightly larger balcony than the staterooms on deck 7 when the staterooms on both decks are the same width, the exterior walls on both decks are even, AND the inside staterooms in the middle row are the same size and width?

What am I missing?
