Kevin Durant left the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors this summer. The decision was a shocking one and it left sporting goods stores with Kevin Durant Thunder jerseys that aren’t so popular anymore. In order to sell them quicker, one store marked down the price all the way to 48 cents, and it worked, according to a story by ESPN’s Darren Rovell.

The jerseys, that typically go for $69.99, per Rovell, “eventually” sold out.

Bleacher Report pointed out that Seth Curry posted a photo of himself in one of OKC Durant jerseys just a couple days ago, which is … interesting, to say the least.

The Miami Heat sort of did a similar thing for Dwyane Wade where they sold all Wade merchandise for $13, but the key difference is that price drop was out of respect for his time with the team ($13 to represent his 13 seasons in Miami), though the price drop probably also helped them sell the gear faster.

Meanwhile, the Warriors have already started giving away signed KD Golden State jerseys.
