Today, we start what will be a sort of “Lightning Round” of BMX Racing team news that has occurred since the new year. One team release each day between now and Friday.

Today, we have some swell news about a swelling-of-the-roster under the Factory Powers Bike Shop (or PowersBikeShop, as they prefer to show it) tent. Jeff Ketron is whipping-up a real gem of a program in the pink & black, and some new co-spo changes make their season-opener release more-interesting still.

Here’s what Jeff told News:

We are proud to announce the addition of three new riders to our Factory Team roster. All three join us from the friendly confines of the Carlos Perez-led BlackCrown team.

We are super-excited to have 16x Josh Walsh from Norwalk, Connecticut returning to our family (lower right in the top photo). Josh rejoins us at a perfect time in the team’s history. Welcome back, Josh!

Another addition is 11x Wyatt Parker from Tallahassee, Florida (left in top photo, with Jeff). We are grateful to be a part of Wyatt’s progression in the sport, and hope he’ll be with us for many years to come.

Factory PowersBikeShop is also very proud to announce that Mr. Jeremy Thompson will be joining us in 2015. Jeremy is coming off of a stellar season last year, earning NAG 2 in the 41-45 expert class and NAG 4 in cruiser while riding for Black Crown. With 20 years of experience, he brings deep knowledge to our team and will serve as a great role model for the younger members of the team.

One thing we have known Powers for over the years, is their long-standing relationship with Standard Byke Co. For 2015, they’re going in a different direction for frames on the Factory team side, and also slimming-down the co-sponsorship list a bit. More from Jeff:

A special THANK YOU to Rick, Jess and the crew at Standard Byke Co. Without their support over the last four years (nine years total, dating back to the “Accel Racing” era), we wouldn’t be where we are today.

The pride and workmanship they put into their product has helped shape us into the team we are. The words “Thank You” can never come close to the amount of gratitude we have.

For 2015, however, the Factory pilots will be shredding on the new Haro Carbon frames. We are extremely excited to represent Haro Bikes, and our other co sponsors:

Profile Racing, Fly Racing, Speedline Parts, Potter Racing, Alienation BMX, Standard Byke Co (for parts other than frames), BOG Racing and G-Form. In addition to these great supporters we will also be representing Allstate Roadside Services.
