There will be a wrestling meeting on Wednesday September 24 for all students who are interested in wrestling this year. New Head Coach, Kevin Bellamy, will be on hand to discuss the upcoming season. If you wrestled last year or are interested in wrestling this year, please be present. The meeting will take place at 3:05pm in the classroom of the Fine Arts and Athletic Center.

There will be an introductory meeting of Teens in Action 3:15 tomorrow, Thursday, September 25th In the library. Come find out more about Teens in Action and join the fun.

October is Breast Cancer awareness month. To kick off the month, "Mustangs Go Pink", the annual event where the Bishop McNamara community shows support for breast cancer awareness by dressing in pink, will occur this Friday, September 26. Students, faculty, and staff are asked to give at least $3 and can dress down; however, at least 50% of your outfit must be pink. Show your support and GO PINK!

Freshman/Junior Service Opportunity: helping families at Literacy Night at Francis Fuchs Early Childhood Center in Beltsville on September 30th/October 1st from 5:45-7:45pm. More information is on the Campus Ministry Bulletin Board.

The Martial Arts Club will have its first meeting this Thursday at 3:15 pm. Come to Room 112 for a short information session, followed by an optional workout.

Yearbook will have its first meeting this Wednesday, 9/24, after school in room 220. All those who wish to participate in creating the 2014-2015 yearbook should attend. See Ms. Dado with any questions.

Admissions representatives from Marymount University, Sweet Briar College, and St. John's University, Queens will be here on Thursday, September 25. Interested seniors should sign up on Naviance. See Mrs. Mendiola in the Counseling Center with questions.

Class of 2015 ~ Admissions representatives from Randolph-Macon College and the Air Force ROTC Program at the University of Maryland will visit Bishop McNamara on Friday, September 26. Sign up on Naviance if you are interested in attending. See Mrs. Mendiola or your counselor with questions.

There will be an introductory Fashion Club meeting this Thursday, September 25 from 3-3:30 in room 205. Please be prompt since the meeting will end at 3:30pm. If you cannot attend the meeting and want to join, see Mrs. Corley.

Hello future F.A.C.E club, there will be a meeting this Thursday from 3:15-4:15. We will enjoy traditional food and discuss future plans for the year. See you there! If you have any questions please contact Rochell Ann Yacat '15.

There will be a Spirit Club meeting about spirit week Wednesday after school in room 108 from 3:10-4:30. See Miss Grice or Dr. Mason for questions.

Anyone interested in Cooking Club that did not make the meeting yesterday can come to room 205 today, Wednesday, to find out information regarding the club. We will be cooking after spirit week.

Tickets for the Homecoming Dance will go on sale next week.

Tickets are $15 a couple and $8 a single. Tickets will be on sale

at all lunches. No tickets will be sold before or after school.

There are limited number of tickets available.

Dance guest permission forms are due September 29 to Mrs. Hayes. The form is available online under the Student Life section of the school website or in the Main Office or Guidance Office.

Please support the Dance team with their effort to help McNamara "Go Pink"! Please find your favorite dance team member and purchase a "Mustangs Go Pink" shirt. The cost of the shirts are $15 and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Fall Blood Drive. With your help we were able to collect enough blood to save the lives of over 65 people!
