The October 2013 GlossyBox was done in collaboration with the new online magazine BYRDIE.  BYRDIE is the latest destination for celebrities, beauty, tips, how-to’s… a must visit for any beauty lover!

Currently available in over 16 countries, GlossyBox has become known for their full sized products, high quality samples and prestigious brands such as NARS, Lancome, Laura Mercier, Tarte and more.

So, what is in the October 2013 GLOSSYBOX?  Let’s check it out!

From Bvlgari, the Eau Parfumee au the Vert Eau de Cologne.  This fragrance blends green tea with citrus, jasmine and rose extracts.  As it dries down it becomes subtle but still lingers.  It’s a nice scent for every day use.

From Balance Me, Shine On Tinted Lip Salve.  I got the shade Super Soft Beige.  This gloss is so smooth and hydrating.  It tastes of minty goodness and gives off major shine.

From Fresh, the Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream.  This moisturizer is said to provide 24 hours of moisture and boost radiance.  Of course, I can’t speak to the long term effects, but the crease does feel wonderful and absorbs quickly while still being lightweight.  A little goes a long way so use sparingly!

From Sesha, the Renu Exfoliating Gel.  This is great for removing dead skin cells and leaving skin feel smooth.  It’s gentle and smells like M&M’s!  Sesha also included a code for 40% off your order of $50 or more as well as free shipping!

From Tarte, the Lights, Camera, Flashes Statement Mascara.  I love this mascara!  It thickens, lengthens and gives volume!

With GlossyBox you get a bit of everything, makeup, skin care, nails, fragrance… I love that this subscription box is sure to cover all of the bases, every single month.

I’m super pleased with the items in this months box, and the value can’t be beat when awesome full size product(s) are in the mix.  The mascara is a total love for me and there are so many other new products for my vanity!

GLOSSYBOX is a subscription service.  You sign up on the website and then from there you can order your subscription based on one month, six months, or a year.  You’ll answer a series of questions and based off of that, you will receive a customized box.  This is all pretty standard for a beauty subscription service.

The price is a bit higher than that of other services you may have heard of or belong to.  At $21 I would expect double the awesomeness of what I’d receive from, say, Birchbox.

GLOSSYBOX will always offer a MINIMUM of five products.  After receiving your box, you can fill out more surveys in order to rate the products you received so they can better tailor your next package.  So, basically, after a few months of the service, your packages should be PERFECT.

**TIP – Make sure you review the products received in your GLOSSYBOX to receive 20 GLOSSYDots per review.  You can use these toward your own free box!**
