Prior to the fall winter 2013 season, United used a factory in Los Angeles to produce all denim and several jackets. As of this season 100% of the United collection is proudly made in Canada. We have taken several days to measure and analyze the new denim collection and the construction and details from last season (being made in USA factory) and this season (being made in Canadian factory) are remarkably close. All details and fabrics are unchanged and the sewing and construction are nearly identical, you would not be able to tell the difference without looking at the tag. The main difference is when you change factories, measurements will always be different so just as a precaution and to make sure all of our customers know the difference we are showing both the new collection measurements (tags will say made in Canada) and the previous season's measurements (tags will say made in USA) or our website. Some of the denims have very subtle changes, some are a little more drastic, so please make sure to take your time and analyze both prior to ordering. Obviously from this point forward the USA made denims will be discontinued and no longer available once they are sold out. United is finally proud to say they are 100% Canada made.

United's core indigo fabric is a 12.5oz sanforized Japanese selvedge with red and white accent. It has a dark indigo base that will fade extremely well and weight perfect for year round wear.

United's solid black fabric is 9oz sanforized Japanese selvedge with red and white accent. The warp and weft are dyed black. The fabric is smooth and comfortable.
Dark anodized hardware is used throughout giving a nice color against the solid black fabric.

United's indigo/indigo selvedge uses a warp yarn (outside) and an weft yarn (interior) which are both dyed to a deep indigo color. The result is a consistently dark indigo color that looks almost violet and will fade to a unique electric blue with a lot of variation. The surface of the fabric is very smooth and the weight is good for year round wear. Fabric is a 14oz sanforized Japanese selvedge and the light blue and white accent is a great touch!
Chrome hardware is used throughout which looks great with the dark indigo base color.
Indigo dyed leather patch on the indigo/indigo fabric is a nice detail!
