The Role:
The Bloomberg Recruitment team is seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to proactively identify and attract top talent across multiple business areas and geographies with particular focus on financial products and technology. The successful candidate will have proven sourcing or recruitment experience in a demanding environment, a passion for research and a creative approach to sourcing.
You will work with a variety of internal stakeholders with drive and tenacity and will be responsible for a number of roles within Bloomberg, focusing on directly sourcing high quality candidates for those roles under tight deadlines.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively partner with recruiters to develop an in-depth understanding of the company s resourcing needs to guide internal customers and assist in targeting the best talent
- Identify and network with key talent pools to actively headhunt passive candidates and generate pipeline for current and future roles
- Design innovative sourcing strategies to identify top talent for Bloomberg
- Build/network/talent pool of candidates. Deliver market intelligence/specific mapping projects for the business
- Attend wherever practical any face to face role briefings given by the business, actively participating in these meetings regarding candidate research methods, market conditions with relation to candidate sourcing etc.
- Add value to the business area through awareness and understanding of skills, trends and market knowledge of the business
- Be a fundamental part of the team and must be passionate and driven to help deliver recruitment services to the business in line with agreed service levels. This is a key role that requires a responsive and client facing individual
- Attend relevant recruitment events/conferences

Required knowledge/experience:
- Must have up-to-date knowledge of innovative sourcing methodologies and strong track record of successfully networking externally
- Proven ability to be pro-active in engaging candidates over the telephone and face to face
- Have a proactive and methodical approach with the ability to work to key targets, under pressure and within tight timelines with multiple vacancies to source
-Plan, coordinate and prioritize activities successfully to work independently and as part of a team environment
- Good understanding of the financial industry and/or technology preferred
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to influence, experience of working with multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships, ability to listen and understand the needs of the business and candidates
