Bloomberg Sell\-Side Execution & Order Management Solutions \(SSEOMS\), for sell\-side equity firms, delivers global order and execution management solutions for front\-end sales and trading, and middle and back office operations\. SSEOMS is integrated with the core Bloomberg Professional service to offer a robust and complete order management system that allows for optimization of workflow, increased direct market access, management of risk and compliance, and improved operational efficiency\.
### What's the role?
As a key member of the SSEOMS product development team you will be responsible for Global middle office and post\-trade product management\.
In this role you will have responsibility for defining the product strategy for our cross asset middle office offering and implementation of this strategy\.
As a key member of the global product development team you will help us further develop the product by introducing innovative and workflow\-driven solutions to clients in the areas of middle office and post trade for cash equity and listed derivatives\.
You'll collaborate on projects with engineering and other teams within Bloomberg\.
### Additionally, we will trust you to:
+ Set the strategy for the Global Middle Office/Post Trade cross asset components
+ Produce product detailed specifications for post trade workflows and components
+ Have a strong understanding of order management and execution management and how they interact with the middle office
+ Manage projects in conjunction with engineering
+ Work collaboratively with Product, Operations, and Engineering to optimize systems and functionality
+ Collaborate with the Business Development and Sales teams to convert initiatives and opportunities into well\-defined requirements
+ Continually seeks to reduce costs and time to market; suggest and share innovative ideas especially regarding system performance and functionality
+ Follow technology trends and developments; keep current with respect to technical journals and specifications of broker connectivity and exchanges
+ Global cross asset middle office and post\-trade system and process knowledge
+ OMS/EMS experience
+ Extensive experience as a product manager or business analyst at exchanges, broker\-dealer, banks, or vendor
+ Experience in project management and production cycle
+ Understanding of financial markets structure, the competitive landscape, trading processes, and related technologies
