Position:

To strengthen and grow the Bloomberg's Trading Solutions Connectivity and Integration (TSCI) business in Japan, through reactive production service desk management and proactive client engagements. This role can be based in Singapore or Hong Kong.

Description:

Bloomberg's Trading Solutions Connectivity and Integration (TSCI) business is responsible for the technical integration between client/vendor systems and the world class suite of Bloomberg Systems across both the Buy and Sell-Side markets. The business continues to see rapid growth with a high demand from clients wishing to leverage our technology products for Enterprise Integration and the Professional Services for work-flow design, implementation and service. Typical engagements can include the use of real-time XML and FIX messaging, XSLT transformations; batch based processes, FpML and other protocols as well as MQ, FIX, TCP/IP, FTP and ODBC connectivity between the client and the Bloomberg Cloud. In addition to message connectivity and transformations, our products also allow clients to code up to our API's in order to programmatically in either a server or desktop architecture.

We are currently looking for a Service Desk & Technical Relationship Representative to strengthen and grow our business within Japan. This is an experienced role within the business to proactive manage client issues and relationships. The role is primarily focused on 'owning' the support and alliance with our clients. They are also strategically focused on the overall customer experience and deepening our relationship with them. This person will be part of a client facing team and will be responsible for building strong relationships which should help us grow and maintain our revenue base. The successful candidate will also be responsible for helping to drive the direction of our products working closely with business managers and R&D; based on client feedback, market research and conditions. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate credibility with a proven knowledge of the capital markets integration industry and have a very good understanding of both buy and sell-side work flows including decision support, execution, position management, middle office and settlements.

Role Requirements:

* A minimum of 5+ years of experience in support & account management with the ability to meet metric targets

* Very solid understanding of the technologies and protocols offered by TSCI

* Insightful grasp of how system integration and technology can enhance and create solutions in the trading space

* Highly proactive and confident in client approach and strategy

* Solid understanding of buy and sell-side order management work flows

* Broad asset class coverage understanding

* Excellent communication and presentation skills Japanese language (both written & spoken) a must

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Provide 1st line client production support

* Partnering with account management in our buy-side and sell-side businesses to provide proactive engagements with existing client base in Asia

* Ensure a smooth client life cycle experience, from project implementation to production support

* Achieving targets and metrics with clients (generating leads, assisting in closing add-on sales and tangibly reducing support costs)

* Understanding key competitors or alternatives and successfully protecting against displacements
