Following his recent loss to Louis Gaudinot, Phil Harris has been released from his UFC contract. Not to worry, though, he's already under contract with cage warriors and set to debut in two weeks time. Likewise, recently released Walt Harris has found a home with Titan FC.
The UFC's flyweight division has lost another fighter following the release of Phil Harris. Harris exits the UFC with a 1-3 record, having dropped fights to Darren Uyenoyama, John Lineker, and most recently Louis Gaudinot. His lone win came over Ulysses Gomez, who was released from the promotion himself, shortly afterward. Fortunately for Harris, he's managed to land on his feet nicely with Cage Warriors, as they announced his signing, and his defacto release, on Twitter. MMAJunkie reports that the contract is an exclusive five fight deal.

Harris is set to meet up and coming Russian flyweight Kurban Gadzhiev at Fight Night 11 in Aman Jordan on April 18th, just two weeks from his announced signing. It's a good move for Harris, to get back in to the regional scene as quickly as possible, as the 30 year old flyweight could potentially make a quick turnaround to a future European UFC card if he can pick up two or three wins in a thin division.
In other Harris related news, recently released UFC heavyweight Walt Harris has also found a new home, signing with Titan FC. His signing was announced via Twitter. It's expected that he'll debut with the promotion sometime this summer.
