What’s up with all these movies being released on VHS lately? Does anybody own a VHS player anymore? I know someone who tried to give their old VHS tapes to charity and not even the charity wanted them.
Oh well, I guess somebody still has one, cause they keep makin’ ‘em.
Anyway.
The Druid Underground Film Festival is proud to announce its first distribution of a film, the “genuinely creepy” (thanks, Rogue Cinema) Hipster Holocaust! This slasher movie tells the story of what happens when two killers crash a party filled with obnoxious hipsters and a night of “weird” violence ensues. Critics have called it a “bold new vision in horror” (CHUD.net).
Hipster Holocaust was directed by William Burgess and stars Ignacio Genzon, Nitai Cook, Ayana Hampton, and Damon Packard.
The VHS will be sold on a limited-edition basis: there are only 50 copies. The DVDs don’t seem to be limited, and come with a lot of extras, including:
+Audio Commentary with Director William Burgess and stars Nitai Cook and Ignacio Genzon
+Making-of stills and Outtakes
+Film Premiere Coverage by Scenester.TV
+Druid Underground Film Fest behind-the-scenes featurette
+Druid Underground Film Festival Trailer Gallery and Original Trailer
