Hope your 2015 is going well!
We celebrated a low key New Year’s Eve with family and friends in Omaha.
That was perfect in my books. I’ve never been one for a big NYE anyway. Also, I’m old. So, midnight seems soooooo late.
New Years Eve
My brother and his girlfriend hosted us for the first part of the evening. Jada provided the entertainment.
As well as, our three [food motivated] golden retrievers.
My brother, Tanner, loves to decorate for Christmas, so we enjoyed the holiday lights one more time. Do we have to take the decorations down yet? Have you?
And, apparently, we all like the dancing chicken on Sesame Street!
Then, we headed to my friend’s house for the second part of the evening. Anna and I have been friends for over 25 years!
She and her hubby have 3 girls, so Jada had a blast! Ummm…these two could be cousins, no?
Jada was obsessed with the puppy in the picture above. Guess she wants to help walk Cooper!
First Flight
We are currently traveling to Washington to visit Spencer’s family, This will be Jada’s first flight, so I’ll report back on how we survived.
The clif notes version: unlimited snacks, lots of book,s and videos of herself. Also, we let her run and walk around the airport as much as possible before boarding the flight!
My next post will focus on fitness while traveling, and how we made that happen.
Your turn:
What did you do NYE?
