Disclaimer: I was provided 5 days of free Diet-to-go meals in exchange for my honest feedback provided below.

Fresh, healthy meals made with REAL ingredients delivered to your doorstep. This tired, new mama is all over that concept!

I was first introduced to Diet To Go back in February when I was pregnant. Having the meals available made it easy for me to get enough protein daily. Back then, I wasn’t using the meals as a method to lose weight (duh).

However, now, the meals are helping me with portion control and time management!

Diet-to-go allows individuals to select from a variety of meal plans like low-carb, vegetarian, or low fat based on dietary preferences.

Meals are made with real ingredients, portion controlled and labeled with all the nutrition facts you need. I selected the low-carb plan because I wanted quality protein in my diet while I’m breastfeeding.

The meals are delivered to your door (some cities have meal pick-up available) in a cooler, packed with ice. You can then transfer them directly to your refrigerator (or to the freezer for later use). Once refrigerated, the meals can be microwaved for 2 minutes and ready to go.

For those of you wary of using plastic in the microwave, you can easily transfer them to glass or directly to your plate and then microwave.

I shared some of the meals with Spencer too. That put Diet-to-Go to the test! He was impressed (actually, surprised!) with the quality of the meals. Bonus: they were filling!

Let me tell you, it is soooooooooooooo nice to simply look in the refrigerator, rattle off a few meal choices for the two of us and have dinner ready in 5 minutes. Especially, when a little someone limits meal prep time!

And, on days when I’m working and famished (okay, I might exaggerate, but it sure feels that way) after a shift, I love being able to pop something healthy into the microwave and eat within minutes.

And, because I’m breastfeeding, I want to make the best food choices I can. That doesn’t always happen, but these meals sure help that process.

Diet-to-go meal plans include 3 meals each day. You can customize your plan or change it every 5 weeks for variety. By the way, I also snacked in between these meals.

I’m not opposed to breakfast for lunch or dinner when it is packed with veggies like this! I never followed the order in which the meals were labeled (ex: Thursday lunch or Friday breakfast), but instead opted for what sounded good. However, that is the idea behind the Diet-to-go. You don’t have to think about meal prep, you just grab and go.

This was one of my favorite meals thus far! It doesn’t look that pretty, but boy was it tasty.
