Hello,

Hope your week is going well.

Well, I’ve been counting down the days to this moment and at last it’s here! I’m thrilled to be débuting my latest jewellery design on this week’s blog!

May I begin by expressing huge thanks to our buying team here at QVC, for their confidence in commissioning the piece; and special thanks to one of our most trusted suppliers for transforming my sketch into a design which has truly exceeded my expectations.

The bangle was inspired by an earlier design of mine, the floating diamond heart necklace, and is available in two options. They’re both sterling silver; one is rhodium finished with white diamonds and the other is a rich 18 carat rose gold-vermeil with black diamonds! I’m struggling to choose a favourite at the moment.

The three diamond-filled hearts represent the ever sought after trilogy story in jewellery design – The Past, The Present, The Future, or perhaps your three children. Then there’s the trilogy symbolism of – we Fell in Love, Are in Love and are Forever in Love. There are so many ways to interpret the meaning to make it personal to you or someone special.

The bangle is officially débuting here on my blog – however Alison Young was having none of it! I’m really pleased to say she adores the piece and admired how well it sits on the wrist with beautiful weight and balance. How could I refuse to let her wear it?! I daren’t argue! So, you may have caught Ali Young wearing the bangle during her OPI show and on her regular Beauty Night In show on Wednesday this week.

I would suggest the care of the bangle is similar to that of pearl. Avoid getting wet and to clean we would suggest a gentle wipe with a soft cloth from time to time.

I recognise it is a considered purchase. However, we were aiming for a high end luxury design boasting generous amounts of sterling silver and a quarter carat of diamond shared inside the three, glass front and back, hearts. It has been exquisitely crafted measures 21cm (8.2″) and has proven to be extremely labour intensive too (thank you again to our supplier). Our production team at QVC have kindly put together a video presentation with me so I am able to give you a thorough guided tour.

I’ve had an incredible 17 years at QVC and this design is among my proudest of achievements. However, it would never have been possible if it wasn’t for the support and commitment of everyone else too. Thank you.

I’m especially excited to show my Mum who doesn’t have Internet access so I’ll be showing her the bangle in person very soon.

I hope you enjoy the design as much as I do.

Take care and see you soon.

Charlie x
