We’re delighted to announce that several of our authors are part of the prestigious American Academy of Nursing class of 2017 fellows. They include Dorothy Brockopp, Barbara Holmes Gobel, Lynette Hamlin, and Nancy Short.

This year’s class includes 173 distinguished nurse leaders selected for their “significant contributions to nursing and health care.” The new fellows will be inducted into the Academy at their 2017 Transforming Health, Driving Policy conference in Washington, D.C. this fall.

According to Academy President, Bobbie Berkowitz, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN,

“I am proud to welcome this talented cohort of nurses as they join the ranks of the nation’s foremost health care thought leaders. They bring a rich variety of expertise to the table, and we look forward to recognizing their accomplishments at our policy conference, and then working with them to transform health policy, practice, and research by applying our collective nursing knowledge.”

Please join us in congratulating the 2017 fellows on this monumental achievement!
