OpenText™ Web Site Management Reporting and Analytics Extensions

Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. EST (UTC -5)

OpenText™ Web Site Management (WSM) consists of the Management Server that provides a full WCM editorial environment, and of the Delivery Server that provides personalization and dynamic delivery of content.

The existing WSM Reporting Module records and aggregates live data from Delivery Server and its sessions as well as structural data from the requesting browser. With the coming WSM 16, a set of standard reports and dashboards are provided in Management Server. Thus, the success of the website can be reviewed directly by content editors in Management Server and the customer experience can be immediately optimized.

Since the tracking is open for extensions through custom attributes, customers might want to develop own reports for visualization and insight. The WSM reporting model is open for such external access. As an example, we provide configuration for OpenText Information Hub, a web-based embedded business intelligence (BI) platform that handles data analytics, advanced reports, and data visualizations.

Further, the WSM 16 reporting is able to deliver its data to the new Data-Service of the OpenText Customer Experience Platform, allowing business analysts to run advanced analytics across the data tracked by different OpenText applications and websites, with the help of OpenText Big Data Analytics.

This webinar will highlight the new and changed functionality, show custom extensions, walk you through installation and configuration in both Management Server and Delivery Server, and concludes with the integration into external visualization and analytics tools.
