Today we are announcing the process to RSVP for our #BlogHer16: Experts Among Us sponsored special events.
What are sponsored special events? These are smaller, more intimate events that take place at #BlogHer16: Experts Among Us that allow sponsors to connect with attendees to talk about product launches, new services, social issues, or just plain informally network and have fun.
At #BlogHer16, every sponsored special event has room for open RSVPs, but space is limited so it is a first come, first served process - with a twist.
Just like last year, we're opening our special events in phases and on different days - a morning phase and an evening phase so if you aren't at your computer when the events open in the morning, you will still have a chance to put your name in the hat to be included in the evening.
It seems a little complicated, but we found this was a great process to be fair and equitable for as many attendees as we possibly can be!
Here is how it will go live: Today, July 20th at 10AM PT (1PM ET) we will open up HALF the slots for the events below. Those slots will remain open until filled.
Tomorrow, July 21st at 6PM PT (9PM ET) we will open up the other HALF the slots for the event below. Those slots, too, will remain open until filled.
So we hope this will allow more people a shot at a slot, so to speak.
