Apple has been silent on its new generation of smartphones, but the relevant messages are still bubbling with noise. It’s rumored there will be iPhone 5S or iPhone 6 launched later this summer after the iPhone 5. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said in a research report, “Apple will launch the new iPhone and iOS 7 in June, the new iPhone (5S and cheap version) wukk have FDD version in July.” There is no inkling of next-generation iPhone design, but it is said there will be a fingerprint scanner in the bottom of the main screen buttons, and also it will run the faster A7 processor.

Samsung easily sold five million units Galaxy Note 2 within two months, and now they turn to the third-generation tablet phones of the Galaxy series. Samsung has not yet announced the plan to release the Note 3, but rumors indicate that Samsung will upgrade the current Note 2 720p 5.5-inch touch screen to 5.9 inches 1080p Super AMOLED. Apple’s next-generation iPhone is not the only iOS smartphone launched this year. The iPhone Math, cheap and big screen iPhone listed in a Chinese report is also rumored to be launched at the same time as a complete function new generation product. The “iPhone Math” is said to have 4.8 inches display, which is the largest Apple smartphone by far. However, it’s still unknown if this “iPhone Math” is truly the budget iPhone that analyst mentioned. Reports from Bloomberg and iLounge’s Jeremy Horwitz refer that, in fact, there may be three iPhones in preparing stages, next generation product of iPhone 5, budget iPhone and the 4.8-inch “iPhone Math”.

If the 4.7 inches HTC One is not convenient to put in the pocket, then there is a smaller model to choose from. HTC has not yet announced the One Mini, but many signs indicate that HTC will launch a more compact flagship product. It’s rumored the Mini’s size may be 4.3 inches, and it’s also with major flagship product unibody aluminum design.

The informed sources said HTC One Mini will be released in this fall, and it will be powered with 1.4GHz dual-core processor, but this message has not been confirmed. The phone exact price is not known, but it’s expected that it will not be higher than the $ 199 HTC One.

ZTE will launch the first phone running Firefox OS. In this year’s Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, they announced this entry-level phone is with Cortex A5 processor amd 3.5-inch touch screen. This may not be most attractive one in the listed phones, but the ZTE Firefox phone will also compete with the iOS and Android phones. It will be firstly listed in Spain, Venezuela and Colombia in mid 2013. But the U.S. branch CEO Chen Lixin said that this phone running Firefox OS will be available in the United States and Europe this year.

This FonePad has posed a direct threat to Samsung Galaxy Note series. It’s still unknown of the price and how to get it, but if this phone will be sold in the U.S., we hope to see how it will deal with competition. It may be a weakness in the North American market of lack of LTE, maybe Acer will sell it at $ 149, the same price of MeMO Pad HD 7.
