So much great news has taken place since the release of Disney’s live action version of Cinderella, that it is actually becoming difficult to keep up. Let’s see — it started with the general excitement over the release of Cinderella. Then we found out that Disney is preparing to release a live action version of Beauty and the Beast in 2017 with Emma Watson stealing the role of Belle — SO exciting. But the movie news didn’t stop there. In 2016 a new version of The Jungle Book with CG animals and a real boy as Mowgli is set to release and Tim Burton has a live action version of Dumbo in the works as well as, Through the Looking Glass, a follow-up to his adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. Suffice to say, Disney is having a bit of a moment right now.

And why not? The live action films are able to project a certain kind of emotion and as it would seem, big Hollywood stars are ready to jump on board as well. Standing beside Emma Watson in Beauty and the Beast is Kevin Kline as her father Maurice, and Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts — just to name a few. With past live action efforts involving stars like Johnny Depp and now Helen Bottom Carter taking on the fairy god mother in Cinderella, there is not telling where these films can take us going forward.

Another perk of live action film is the always over-the-top fashion efforts and this year Cinderella did not disappoint. Each gown is enough to have a girl wiping the drool from her mouth once it hits the screen and that is not a compliant. Early on, Kohl’s recognized the lust for princess fashion and reeled in everyone’s favorite girl’s girl, Lauren Conrad. In partnering with Conrad, Kohl’s was able to release an eleven piece set of fashionable items officially titled, Disney’s Cinderella a Collection by LC Lauren Conrad and it is perhaps the most adorable set of items a grown woman can wear.

After taking a first glance at Disney’s Cinderella a Collection by LC Lauren Conrad, which released in stores just over two weeks ago, one thing became quite clear — these items are perfect for Easter. It doesn’t matter if you are heading to a family brunch, lunch, or dinner any of the perfectly chic pieces will have you feeling like a holiday dressing guru. Between the tulle, pastels, and subtle hints of lace, Disney’s Cinderella a Collection by LC Lauren Conrad will have you hopping to the nearest store for a live action peak. But until you can make it there in person, feel free to obsessive over the pieces below that may fit perfectly with your upcoming Easter plans.

Nothing says Easter quite like this. It has a sweet feminine touch, but is trendy enough to take you from lunch with family to a fancy dinner party with friends. Add a cami and your own blazer for that extra piece of class.

The Popover Dress

If you rather play it casual you can try the popover dress. With its muted embroidered detail this dress is a great option for those that want to feel comfortable, yet still slightly dressed up.

For those holiday occasions that feel a little more fancy, this bow-back dress will fit in just fine. It comes in light blue and pink and will cost you less than a decent pair of heels.

The Maxi Dress

Every girl loves a good maxi dress and luckily the option from this Cinderella collection is ready just in time for Spring as well. The shades of white or blue fit right in with Easter and the floral detail will have you wearing it long after the Easter egg hunt is over.

Whatever you plan to do for Easter and no matter what you chose to wear, don’t forget the most important detail about this very special holiday — the calories don’t count! So make a point of eating all the creme eggs you can get your pretty little manicured fingers on.
