GMIC Tel-Aviv is excited to announce its first list of speakers for the conference on March 22, 2016 at the Fair Center, Tel-Aviv. Opportunities to innovate abound in mobile internet industry, especially in Israel. GMIC Tel-Aviv will focus on two important aspects of the Israeli mobile internet market — innovation and investment. GMIC Tel-Aviv main stage will consist of five sessions: Thought Leader (will focus on investment and cutting-edge innovation), Mobile Marketing, Gaming, Cybersecurity and Global Growth. Thought leaders from the leading technology companies in mobile internet industry will exchange views on global market trends and discuss how next generation technologies and innovations take a step ahead to inspire the future.

Julian Ma, CVP, Tencent

Julian Ma has been with Tencent since 2008. He oversees Tencent’s map , Internet of Vehicles and search business. Prior to his current position, he led Tencent’s corporate strategy. Mr.Ma is a recognized expert in internet and technology. He also has extensive experience with consumer goods, retail and logistics. He was previously with A.T. Kearney, a global management consultancy, where he was Principal and the Head of Communication & High-Tech Practice in Greater China. Julian also worked for Motorola in cellular network business. He received B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China and MBA from IMD in Switzerland.

Gil Dudkiewicz, CEO, StartApp

Gil Dudkiewicz, is the Founder and CEO of StartApp, a NY based mobile advertising platform that helps developers and advertisers monetize, distribute and advertise apps. The company offers a variety of innovative products including native ads, 360 Ad, 3D OfferWall, interstitials, display ads and rich ads. StartApp has over 300M monthly active users, has been downloaded more than 7 billion times and is embedded in over 200,000 apps. StartApp monetization products are TRUSTe certified.

Jonathan Medved, CEO, OurCrowd

Jonathan Medved is a serial entrepreneur and according to the Washington Post (Dec 5, 2007) “one of Israel’s leading high tech venture capitalists”. In the September, 2008 NY Times Supplement “Israel at 60” Medved was named one of the “top 10 most influential Americans who have impacted Israel”. In May 22, 2015 Edition of the Jerusalem Post, Medved was named one of the “50 most influential Jews”. Medved currently is the founder and CEO of OurCrowd, the leading global equity crowdfunding platform for accredited investors and angels.

YU Kai, Founder & CEO at Horizon Robotics & Founder of IDL at Baidu

Dr. Kai Yu is the founder & CEO of Horizon Robotics. He is a recognized pioneer and leader in deep learning and artificial intelligence. He was the founder and Head of Baidu Institute of Deep Learning (IDL), the first and most established artificial intelligence R&D centre in China industry. During his career at Baidu, his role also included Deputy Managing Director of Baidu Research, Director of Multimedia Department, and Senior Director of Image Search Department. The teams led by Dr. Yu have won three Baidu Highest Achievement Awards for significant contributions to voice search, computer vision, online advertising, and web search. He has launched a number of innovation projects, including Baidu Brain, BaiduEye, Baidu Autonomous Driving, DuBike etc.

Aaron Tong, VP Investment, TCL

Aaron Tong, VP of TCL Capital. TCL Corp. is a multinational company based in Huizhou, China specializing in manufacturing of display panel, TV and cellphones. It has an annual sales of $16B. TCL Capital is a wholly owned subsidiary of TCL Corp. Since it was founded in 2009, TCL Capital has invested into over 60 startups in both China and abroad through 9 different VC fund it created with regional Chinese government in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Wuxi and etc.

Tim Xiong, head of Startup Incubation, Amazon Web Services (AWS) China

Tim Xiong is the head of Startup Incubation and University Collaboration Department in Amazon Web Services (AWS) China. Tim is leading the department to build the strategic collaboration with startups, Accelerators & Incubators, venture capitals and top universities in China, driving the collaboration from the business and technical perspectives in the field of the cloud computing. Tim is an experienced leader for innovation business development and strategic collaboration in some leading global companies, including Microsoft, IBM, and Siemens. Tim achieved the master degree from Guanghua Management School of Peking University. Meanwhile he got the education in Schulich Business School of York University.

Amnon Bar-Lev, President, CheckPoint

Amnon Bar-Lev, President at Check Point, is responsible for worldwide sales, global partner programs, business development, and technical services for the company. Mr. Bar-Lev joined Check Point in 2005, and brings more than 15 years of high-tech sales, marketing, and management experience to the organization.

LI Zhifei, Founder&CEO, Mobvoi & Ticwatch

Zhifei Li, founder of Mobvoi & Ticwatch, expert in natural language processing, Ph.D in Computer Science of John Hopkins, and former Google US research scientist specialized in machine translation. After quitting Google, Zhifei started Mobvoi in China, a company focusing on smart voice interaction research. As the only start-up in the Chinese market with independent core technologies including speech recognition, semantic analysis, and mobile search, Mobvoi developed a popular voice search & interaction application named “Chumenwenwen”, which stands out in the market for its precise voice recognition and “end-to-end” search result.

Mika Kuusisto, CRO, Outfit7 Group

Mika Kuusisto is Chief Revenue Officer of Outfit7 Group. Based out of the company’s Cyprus headquarters, Mika looks after all revenue streams for Outfit7 and Bee7. Previously he was running global business development for Unity Ads, one of the biggest video networks for games based on Unity\’s acquisition of Applifier in 2013. Mika has been passionately working with mobile app developers since 2002 when he joined Nokia. Since leaving the corporate world in 2007, he has been driving growth for many amazing start-ups through mobile games, apps and advertising industries.

Iky Sandorffy, Head of Google Play Apps & Games, Middle East & Africa at Google

Iky leads the Middle East & Africa teams for Google Play Apps & Games.  He previously drove the EMEA Mobile.  Product Solutions team, helping developers formulate and execute on cross platform monetization strategies. He joined Google in 2009 and has had long standing experience working with partners directly on scaling their online businesses. Prior to Google, Iky was Program Manager Team Lead at Metacafe.

Tayman Kan, Managing Partner, CreditEase Venture

Tayman Kan is the Managing Partner at CreditEase Venture and he is an entrepreneur turned investor. He co-founded 4 companies in the last 15 years in TMT sector of Greater China in which one of them listed in HKGEM and other two got merged and acquired by fortune 500 companies. He also has 10 years of angel investment experience in software, hardware and mobile internet in US, Asia and China. Tayman started his career as a software engineer in Apple Computer and has a MBA degree from the University of Southern Queensland Australia and a Bachelor degree of Computer Science from the University of Hong Kong.
