Ladies rejoice! I am once and for all debunking the idea that athletic wear cannot be stylish. Yes, you read that right. With the last of the four major Fashion Weeks wrapping up in Paris on Wednesday, I couldn’t help but notice many similarities between items that Tennis Warehouse carries and items that were featured on the catwalk. Here, take a look for yourself! Show up to the courts in one of these outfits, and you’ll be the most up-to-date player of the latest fashion trends.

Fila / Rag & Bone

It’s almost as though Fila and Rag & Bone worked as partners together on their collections. That, or they’re experts in knowing what’s fashionable! Both used an almost identical pattern on their tops to create a sophisticated look.

Lucky in Love / Gariele Colangelo

Consisting of dark blues and oranges, Lucky in Love and Gabriele Colangelo use virtually the same color palette to create some fun colorblocking patterns for their collections. In fact they’re so similar, see if you can differentiate the two yourself!

(Don’t worry. If you need a little help, to the left the model is featuring the Aztec X-Back Tank with the Aztec Layered Pleat Skort, and to the right is a piece from Gabriele Colangelo’s latest collection.)

Lija / Giorgio Armani

Lija and Giorgio Armani must go to the same place for their inspiration. In each of their collections, they have high-fashion silhouettes that star a pastel pink floral pattern. I’m no scientist, but the evidence below is clear that flowers can make for some lovely pieces!

EleVen / 3.1 Phillip Lim

Recently Tiffani wrote a fashion blog entry that put a spotlight light on the latest collection by Venus William’s EleVen, the Autumn Group, which featured a popular floral pattern on various pieces. Seems to me 3.1 Phillip Lim had the same thought with this adorable dress!

Lucky in Love / Marc by Marc Jacobs

Lucky in Love matches yet another top designer with their fun Aztec Group. This time the Aztec Jersey Tank shows some similarities to the Marc by Marc Jacobs collection with colors and patterns. I just hope you’re not too sexy for any of these Lucky in Love shirts, because you’ll be looking like a model if you know what I mean!

Jamie Saddock / Marc by Marc Jacobs

Lucky in Love isn’t the only one that resembles the Marc by Marc Jacobs collection. Jamie Sadock designed some edgy tops that show similarities to his collection as well. Both groups feature items with a youthful star pattern, while sticking to a modern color palette of black and silver.

Lija / Rag & Bone

Both Lija and Rag & Bone chose a calm and cool pastel purple to use for their dresses, and both were successful! The designers were able to create chic and stylish dresses that hit just the right notes with this catchy color.

EleVen by Venus Williams / Proenza Schouler

Don’t just stick with the ordinary. Stand out from the rest of crowd with a showy outfit! EleVen by Venus Williams and Proenza Schouler had this in mind when it came to choosing a print. This fun, flashy pattern is one they won’t miss.

So what’s the lesson learned here? Just because workout clothes were made to sweat in, doesn’t mean they can’t be apart of the fashion trends either! Go on and take one of these looks from New York, London, Milan or Paris, and walk onto that tennis court like it’s your runaway.

Auf Wiedersehen!
