Looking for some November travel inspiration? We’ve rounded up several reasons to hit the road across the United States this month, whether you’re looking for food and wine events, weekend getaways, or a head start on the ski season.

Atlantic City
There’s more to Atlantic City than blackjack and the beach, especially if you plan your trip around the upcoming Savor Borgata culinary festival. Held on the first weekend of the month (November 4 to 5), this year’s food and wine fest at Borgata Hotel, Casino and Spa features a dinner with Wolfgang Puck, a scotch and pastry pairing, a “Savor the City” event celebrating New York City’s culinary scene and more. Many events are already sold out, so get your tickets now.

Baltimore
Plan an urban escape to Baltimore by booking the Autumnal Package at The Ivy, an 1889 brownstone turned boutique lodge. If you reserve two nights in an Ivy suite, you’ll not only receive a complimentary third night, but daily gourmet breakfast, high tea, cocktails at the property’s Mansion Bar and valet parking as well. The inn provides a car service to shuttle you around the city, too. Several cultural attractions are nearby, including Walters Art Museum and Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, where the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra will perform Mahler’s Symphony No. 6 (November 11 to 12) and dazzle with a weekend of Beethoven works (November 18 to 20).

Boca Grande, Florida
Built in the early 1900s, Florida’s oldest-surviving resort hotel is welcoming guests back to an earlier era this autumn. Historic Forbes Travel Guide Recommended The Gasparilla Inn and Club on Florida’s Gulf Coast has created a Fall Discover The Inn package, available in November and early December, with preferred room rates and access to the wide variety of property activities, ranging from sport fishing, golf and tennis to kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. Just a 75-minute drive from either the Ft. Myers or Sarasota/Bradenton airports, the inn has several dining outlets and an onsite spa as well.

Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia
Located just southwest of Atlanta, the sustainably chic community of Serenbe will host a special evening with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Art Over Dinner Event, on Sunday, November 20. You can enjoy cocktails, discussions and an intimate dinner with music performed by Atlanta-based pianist John Burke.

If you’d like to make a weekend of it, book a room at the darling Inn at Serenbe, a deluxe 27-room lodge set on 40 serene country acres.

Park City, Utah
There’s still time to visit one of Forbes Travel Guide’s Top Destinations For 2016, particularly if you’re ready to hit the slopes. Ski season kicks off in November, with the Park City base area slated to open Friday, November 18, and the Canyons Village area opening Wednesday, November 23.

Make your stay even more special by booking a Signature Experience package at the Four-Star Waldorf Astoria Park City. The experiences that this luxe hotel offers are one-of-a-kind: Try a day of skiing with Olympic freestyle skier Nate Roberts as your guide, or seize the opportunity to test out new limited edition Strato skis from Rossignol. Off the slopes, you can become brewmaster for a day with tours and tastings at the local Park City Brewery.

West Palm Beach, Florida
South Florida’s temperate fall weather gives short shrift to indoor activities like museum going, but Canvas, an outdoor art museum in West Palm Beach, bridges that gap. The 2016 installment of Canvas is a 10-day exhibition (November 11 to 20) that includes more than 15 large-scale works, a mobile art truck, interactive sculptures and live music.

View the transformative power of art that turns vacant lots and other unused urban spaces into murals and installations that encourage day-to-day interaction between the creative world and the community at large.

When you tire of urban environs, enjoy the natural beauty of the ocean at Four-Star The Breakers Palm Beach. The indoor-outdoor spa with its private courtyard offers sea-centric treatments and gorgeous alfresco views worthy of any gallery.
