Ah, spring! Warmer weather means soon, the flowers will all be in bloom. After a long hard winter, a little color will definitely be much appreciated. Easter is on the way and what better way to celebrate than by adding some lovely spring colors to your desk? With traditional desk accessories typically being in the black and grey color scheme, perhaps it’s difficult to imagine how adding a color pop can make a difference. We channeled a little inspiration from colored easter eggs to find the perfect line up of products that can easily be mixed and matched. Not fond of mixing things up? That’s ok! Going with a monochromatic look is also an impactful way to bring a little Easter inspiration to your desk.  With a little creativity, you can create an Easter inspired look that will be as wonderful as the spring breeze.

Yellow/ Orange

This color is not for the faint of heart. Yellow is associated with springtime, the sun and happiness. This is especially true in regards to the more muted and lighter shades. Why not add a 5 Star clipboard or scissors to brighten things up? Add this color to your repertoire to bring a little bit of sunshine to your workday.

Pink

When it comes to classic spring colors, pink is a color that cannot be ignored. Pink is traditionally associated with femininity, and youthfulness, so have fun with this one! We love adding touches of pink in storage boxes, and that cute little stapler is our favorite! Using this color for a monochromatic theme might turn out to be a bit much, but adding a few key accessories can really amp up the wow factor for your Easter desk!

Purple

This deep and intense color traditionally symbolizes luxury, mystery and romance. Purple adds depth to the spring palette and can make your desk feel downright royal. Try a vivid shatterproof clipboard and we love this purple organizer. This is a great color choice for a monochromatic look and definitely carries an air of sophistication.

Blue

It’s the color of the sky and the sea. This color instantly invokes feelings of freshness and new beginnings. Traditionally, blue symbolizes serenity and trustworthiness, but we also think it symbolizes chic! Add some blue Post- It notes or storage boxes for an easy, breezy look. Blue can stand alone or can complement other cool colors, so have fun mixing and matching!

Green

It’s Shoplet’s favorite color and represents the everything that we stand for. So what does the color green symbolize? Green represents nature, stability and prosperity. Try this green binder or the GLO poly folder. Green is a great balancing color and helps to unite warm and cool tones. Be careful of going monochromatic on this one though. It can definitely be too much of a good thing
