Bing Boards: New Search Experiment Highlights ‘Inspiring Content’

Bing, Google’s biggest competitor and  the number two search engine, continues to innovate and experiment with users search experience. In their latests improvement, Bing is exploring ‘Inspiring Content’, in a similar fashion to a Pinterest look and creating more of a social community feel. Together with a small group of writers, Bing is looking to bring content to the forefront and create a new way for content to be seen. “At best, this look like a positive, link-building element rewarding those applicants with unique original content.”

Study: Google+ Will Overtake Facebook’s Social Sharing By 2016

As Google+ approaches it’s second birthday at the end of this month, Searchmetrics has announced a new prediction on the growth rate of the search giant overtaking the largest social media site. In the study, Google+ share’s increased 19% whereas Facebook shares increased roughly 10%. The study also included a 15-month analysis of the two networks.
