You’re Invited to CeBIT 2016
Have you got any plans in March 2016? More specifically between the 14. – 18. March? As those of you who follow every move we make will know, back in January we announced our participation at CeBIT 2016. What’s more we also provided a few teasers as to what we are going to be showcasing during the show. Well now that announcement has been done and dusted, it is time to get those invites out there and give you all a bit more information.
CeBIT 2016 – What’s on Show
Just as in previous years, we will have plenty of highlights on show, but the 2016 promises to be extra special premiere as our mobydick Cloud Stack makes it’s global debut. But that’s not all – throughout 2015 we worked feverishly on making the mobydick even better which means we have loads more highlights on show in 2016 including;
mobydick Cloud Stack
The mobydick cloud stack has been designed to deliver enterprise and carrier grade Cloud Telephony solutions, making it ideal for end customers, channel partners and carriers alike. Unlike many other Cloud solutions, the mobydick cloud stack features a fully integrated session border control and container management system, providing an “Out of the Box” multi-tenant hosted PBX solution.
Cloud solutions deliver businesses with additional scalability and cost spreading advantages, but often lack the flexibility associated with on premise, purchased solutions. With mobydick however, we have successfully taken an on premise solution to the cloud and not lost any of the benefits such as being free to choose providers and having the ability to completely manage your phone system and customise it to fulfil your needs without requiring vendor support.
mobydick ContactCenter Solutions
Throughout 2015, we worked hard to expand mobydick’s call center functionality. The result – a next-generation Contact Center solution that provides any business the ability to operate a full contact center and leverage the benefits of Skill Based Routing, Advanced Reporting and Team Management. Furthermore, our latest developments have been incorporated in to our desktop CTI applications as we strive to support our call center customers in delivering excellent and customer centric customer care.
mobydick Unified Communication Solutions
Unified Communication (UC) is more than just presence, video and softphones. UC delivers productivity enhancements, by delivering users with the information they need when they need it across all platforms. It may not sound like much, but in 2015 we added some significant user experience (UX) enhancements to our desktop application.
Firstly, the mobydick softphone is now fully integrated across all platforms including Linux. Next up, we also completely overhauled the mobydick address book, making it significantly more search and user friendly. Moreover, we also developed additional UX enhancements which support users in calling up caller information from CRM and ERP systems which in turn supports users in delivering the highest levels of customer care.
New & More Interoperability
At CeBIT 2015, we launched a SIP provider database which also coincided with a reworking of our mobydick connector profiles. Throughout last year, we expanded both the number of providers included within our database as well as the number of connector profiles. As a result, mobydick has become not only simpler to use in conjunction with numerous providers but also become easier to manage thanks to incorporating solutions such as Univention’s Corporate Server (UCS)
Last but not least, we have added interoperability with Auerswald’s Android based IP telephones to our range of supported endpoints, providing our customers with a larger more complete range of choice when choosing their preferred desktop phones.
