Thirteen day long Freshmen Induction Program concluded at Lovely Professional University with grand Punjabi music and dance festival ‘Crossblade’. Performances by top Punjabi stars Gippy Grewal, Jassi Gill, Babbal Rai, Zora Randhawa, Dr Zeus energized newly admitted students to start their higher academic journey with grandeur and enthusiasm. These biggest names in Punjabi entertainment world rocked LPU students during presenting great Punjabi heritage and culture in high rhythmic forms. Students kept singing, swaying, stamping and shrieking throughout five-hour long concert to be further telecasted by a famous Punjabi channel later on. Crossblade is the largest Punjabi Musical Tour in the country, and is held at different locations throughout the country.
Elated Anuradha Sandhu, a new student of B.Sc Medical program said: “What a grand way to start our classes! In the afternoon hours we were greatly inspired by the top bollywood stars and in the evening by top pop stars of Pollywood! We have enjoyed a lot and are now inspired in full to further perform the best in our academics. It was indeed a fantastic & inspiring day of ours at LPU.” Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal mentioned: “I anticipate that the students must have imbibed great messages from the live performances and interactions with top stars." Gippy Grewal thanked LPU students who kept watching and listening to stars’ performances hours together.
