B2B marketing specialists Prisma Media Solutions teamed up with leading Parisian digital think tank HUB Institute to present an overview of the evolution of mobile technologies on November 20, 2014 in Paris.

Among the many aspects of mobile that were mentioned, mobile commerce and the impact that mobile design has on the constantly growing number of shoppers in countries like India and Brazil were some of the highlights.

Thanks to guest speakers and the expertise of the conference’s organizers, Prisma Trends (which was discussed on Twitter via #PrismaTrends) provided a large amount of mobile insight in just a few hours.

Prisma Media Solutions Managing Director Philipp Schmidt said this week that the next edition of the annual Prisma Trends conference will take place at the end of 2015 and that photos from this year’s edition can be found online.

Mobile Movement

HUB Institute Co-Founder Emmanuel Vivier also took some time this week to share his thoughts on the direction mobile is going in.

“Mobile is eating everything because digital is becoming mobile and everything is becoming digital. Every business should take mobile and their mobile consumers much more seriously. From mobile content to mobile utility, mobile is both a challenge and an amazing opportunity,” said Vivier.

“Smart mobile apps such as Hotel Tonight are disrupting entire industries at fast speed. From UX specifics to engagement, geolocation and multimedia constraints, mobile is critical for the future of businesses.”

Several photos and statistics presented during the conference, including some in a comScore report reviewing the growth of mobile usage in the United States, were shared via Lengow’s Twitter page (@Lengow_UK) and are available below.
