My favorite coat and jacket options right now are from activewear retailers because they tend to cut sleeves SO long. I’ve never had an activewear jacket that was too short in the arms and that’s a near miracle for me.
So! Try The North Face. They’re pricier, but if you find one that works it will last you a long time. Buy from Zappos because they have free returns. This one ($199) is really fitted and sleek, which I like. This one ($210) comes in black, white and navy and is hooded. They also have a more trenchcoat-like version here ($199). Worth mentioning: This Patagonia one got not-so-great reviews BECAUSE the sleeves were too long…so it’s probably a great choice for you! It’s $180 (from $299). Patagonia also has this great hunter green hooded trench for $199. This Columbia jacket is just $65 (from $100). REALLY cute. Lululemon also has a rain anorak for $138.
The best deal of the day has to be this Cinzia Rocca button-front rain trench, marked down to $176 from $625 (!!). The sleeves look long on the model—always a good sign—and sizes 6, 10 and 12 are still available.
