We have great pleasure in confirming that version 11 of the reseller control panel is now live! In this latest major release we have completed a design overhaul, revisiting every page, and implementing changes to meet how our users are now using the control panel.
In summary, the changes include:

New reseller home page

Easy integration of your logo into client control panels
1. Responsive Design
In the office we have long debated whether we should create a mobile App compromising all, or part of, our control panel. There are many issues with such a task, not least keeping up with rate of change in the mobile device market, and developing a solution suitable for multiple operating systems. Instead we have opted to change our existing setup to respond and adapt to the environment that it is being viewed from.
With our new responsive design your reseller control panel, and that of your clients, will change and adapt to the screen size and resolution it is being displayed on. For example, boxes that sit side by side on a computer browser window will stack on top of one another and re-size if viewed on a smart phone. Likewise menus that pull down from the top bar on a browser appear in a special pull-out menu designed for mobile use.
From our own user statistics, we can see that there is a significant trend to using mobile devices for viewing our portal interfaces, so we hope that this development will further enhance this take-up.
2. New Reseller Home Page
When you next login to your reseller control panel the home page will be different. Gone are the static boxes, and in their place are ‘widgets’ which can be added, removed and even moved. The result allows you to customise the home page with the content you want to see and interact with the most.
3. Bookmark Pages
When navigating the new control panel interface each page will have a gold star located on the top grey bar of the reseller portal. Click on it to apply a bookmark that will appear as a link within a ‘bookmarks’ widget on the home page. This has been designed to make it easier for you to create short cuts to the pages you access the most.
Bookmarks are not limited to just the control panel pages; additional external links can be created via the widget for your convenience.
4. Retina Ready Icons
Every icon used within the control panel has been re-drawn and will automatically adjust to a sharper version if your device and screen supports this concept. This is most prevalent on devices such as the iPhone (version 4 and above) which have been designed with this in mind. The resulting icons look simply stunning in comparison to how they used to be viewed.
5. New Client Control Panel Templates
We have revamped and extended the number of ready-made templates available to resellers. We have also simplified the code and styles used to make it even easier to create your own and apply your own touches to it.

6. Easy Logo Inclusion
For customers who would like to use one of our ready made control panel templates, and wish to simply apply their logo to it, we have provided a simple way to achieve this. Specify a direct URL to the image (eg http://domain.com/images/logo.png) and the panel will re-size and include the logo for you.

The changes further enhance the usability of the portal and has lead ICUK to become one of the first companies in the world to apply such technologies and concepts to a portal environment.
