HSS Hire Group has expanded its support of British cycling by sponsoring renowned cycling champion Matthew Bottrill and his team – Team Bottrill – in 2016.

The new team will be unveiled to media at a press event on Friday 4th March in Leicester.

The news of HSS’s sponsorship of Team Bottrill adds to the company’s association with British cycling building on the existing relationship that HSS enjoys with the Aprire Women’s Cycling Racing Team.

HSS has sponsored the Aprire team since 2014 and the tool and equipment hire specialists will continue that support into 2016 as well.

Team Bottrill consists of National 100 Mile champion and record holder Charles Taylor, Josh Williams, Daniel Barnett, Matt Smith, Billy Oliver, Daniel Northover and Jonathan Parker.

These established riders will be complemented by a strong force of other riders who are currently being coached by Matt Bottrill, Gareth Pymm and Dan Barnett of Matt Bottrill Performance Coaching and Bob Tobin of Cyclepowermeters.

Matt Bottrill, the multi-national TT champion and record holder, will be riding for the team when his triathlete commitments allow. Matt said: “It’s always been a dream of mine to form my own team – so I’m really excited to be introducing Team Bottrill to the press. The next stage now is to continue with our training and start bringing the results home. I’m really excited for our grand unveiling!”
