Essential Driver Training (EDT)
There is more to being a good driver than knowing how to drive a car. Essential Driver Training (EDT) is a course consisting of 12 lessons which cover all aspects of driving and road safety. Car controls, speed management, anticipation & reaction, night driving, correct positioning, sharing the road, car controls and safety, reading road signs. Once you have completed your 12 lessons, you are eligible to apply for your driving test.
Pre-Test Lessons
The RSA advise learners to take Pre Test Lessons prior to sitting the driving test. Drive Time Driving Tuition offer comprehensive pre-test lessons to ensure that every client is fully prepared. Pre-test lessons are designed to reinforce your existing knowledge and boost your confidence on the road. An approved driving instructor will simulate the driving test so that you know what to expect which is a great way to identify any bad habits or weaknesses and improve on them.
Motorway Driving Lessons
When driving on the motorway you need to be able to deal with multi-lane, high speed traffic. It’s normal for inexperienced drivers to be nervous when using the motorway for the first time. Anyone who is unfamiliar with motorway driving will benefit from specialised motorway driving lessons. Lessons include safe overtaking, entering & exiting the motorway, multi-lane discipline and multi-lane discipline.
